I wouldn't call it a crash, more like a lack of liquidity in that spike down to 14K on GDAX.  Their "news" has obviously caught people off guard, except for the BCH crews and pumpers who are obviously in the know.

Here's the thing: There is no way that the pumpers would know to short/dump bitcoin and pump BCH way ahead of Coinbase's surprise announcement, unless they had been tipped off by insiders at the company. And insider trading is illegal.

Therefore Brian Armstrong should be investigated.
Do laws even apply to unregulated markets?

For a company that is supposedly trying to go public as early as next year, and are in a lawsuit with the IRS, they sure as shit better get their act together when it comes to "regulations".

With BCash you're trusting Antminer corp with your money, where they can fork and screw as they wish.

Oh I don't know, I was never a fan of company scrip, but YMMV.

It's not 100% controlled by one group. You won't know you need that until it's too late and nothing matters more.

I don't think this pain will be over before at least next 4-6 hours. We may test $13k once again, and if that comes, it'll be the perfect time to purchase more bitcoins.

Right now, I'm trying to get my hands on my un-touched BCC which I didn't even extract till now. Good time to sell them off now.

Actually fiat does everything better than crypto if you are just using it as a medium of exchange.  But few people want to hold it long term and those who hodl it has their wealth redistributed over time.  So it takes a while for the masses to figure out why people even value something like BTC.  Even if people think that they got it all figured out at the beginning, the more you go down the rabbit hole, the less you know.

So BCH price on GDAX is at $3099. But it's frozen. People can place limit orders but no market orders. In other words, the $3099 price on GDAX is set on ZERO VOLUME.

And the $3099 price CANNOT BUDGE until GDAX opens up market orders, which they will do at exactly ... no one knows except Brian Armstrong and company.

For some reason, the BCH price on poloniex zoomed to pretty near 3099 about forty minutes ago, AFTER the price was set to 3099 on GDAX, and has hovered there.

WTF?

Somehow, a MEANINGLESS price on GDAX has somehow

SegWit Coin has far superior censorship going on ...

I mean who on Earth with a straight face can say it's better to have 50$+ TX fees and over 250k unconfirmed transactions ?

Just to wait for Lightning Networks? Which nobody knows if it ever will work and it will create on top centralized Super Hubs which Banks are going to control because it requires a license as money transmitter...

If anyone bother to check, they can see that BTC is transferring consistently $30 ~ 50 billion value over the internet in the past weeks.  This is more than ALL the ALT COMBINED!  So it is functioning as designed, i.e. an internet value transfer protocol with a daily $10 million+ fee market that incentivize profit seeking miners to secure it.

How about a group lawsuit? Would love to see BTrash getting some well-deserved spanking.

I also find it hilarious that the BTrash shills keep crawling out of their caves whenever WuVer launches a (short-lived) attack. Top tier entertainment, maybe Netflix will adapt the show in 2018.

The public is getting it slowly... How can you say that a currency is going to be the future when you can't even use it as a currency anymore...?
