Could we just agree, that we aren't stimulating each other enough to keep this conversation going?

I actually mostly agree with most of your points. I just wanted to help you improve your argument by convincing you to abandon vague and confusing language. But it's w/e. Sure we can stop here.

The fault could be mine, because I'm currently drunk. English isn't my first language, so semiotics about the term felt a little out of context in financial topics. Still interesting question though. I'm just currently giving my best to keep my attention on the subjects most important aspects. Maybe we could continue the other subject some other day. I apologize for being too blunt before.

What no tool vanity plate to go with it? Lol

If you have lambo, good for you. You're now part of the tool club along with Ver and CSW.

I have a paid off house and still millions worth of bitcoin. So tell me why I would be bitter again?

Yeah, it's kind of funny when some guy shows up bragging about his lambo and gold bars, when over half the people in this thread probably have a higher net worth.

Rich, poor - doesn't matter. What matters is if the person is religious about crypto or not.

Yeah and the silent ones like Loaded even more so.

Not only that, but if you check the guy's post history, it's clear he went like 99% all into gold around the 2015/2016 timeframe.

Bad move. He sounds salty.

Don't get me wrong, I like and own some gold too. But I'm willing to bet that $600K of bitcoin will hit $2-3M worth WAY before $600K of his gold will. And in very short order.  Wink

I just find it ammusing how many bitcointards get triggered at any negative bitcoin comments.

People here need to realise its an investment and ditch the emotional almost religious extremist attachment to it.

They claim how bitcoin is so superior, decentralized bla bla bla but here we are over 20,500 pages of people obsessing with bitcoin based on fiat values.

Slight negative story in the media from the US, China etc. and bitcoin shits the bed.

I actually sold all my gold after the post Brexit vote gold price spike and paid off my current house.

Started stacking gold/silver again just over 12 months ago.

$600k of bitcoin @ $19k would now be worth $239k and that is the real danger of bitcoin, it can crash just as quick as it pumps

One of the few places were people are only mildly impressed by your lambo.

No sure how any of that makes sense as a response to what I said. Huh
This guy just starts talking next to the point so that he can keep believing whatever he wants to believe.  Whether he himself is aware of this, I am not sure.
He acts as if he wants a courteous rational discussion and claims the moral high ground, but in the same breath calls people that make calm remarks fanatics.
Trolls gonna troll I guess.

We don't need to read the charts to know when to buy the dip because Bittard shows up with diarrhea of the fingers every time!

And markj113 shows up to brag about the gold and lambos that he claims to own but can't prove it.  Roll Eyes

"When trolls on parade, buy the fucking dip."

I hope the owner didnt catch you hanging that sign!

Always have loved sports cars and bikes.

Main reason I bought it was the naturally aspirated V10 and the noise and drama it gives.

I wouldn't care if I had a track to drive it on and no one ever saw me in it.

Got a track day booked next month so I can stretch it legs a bit (hopefully not into a wall Smiley )

I actually want a courteous rational discussion about the practicality of crypto and the difference between gold and bitcoin. But when the topic starts to drift into the subject of semiotics, then I'm not currently interested Sad
I don't claim the moral high ground, I have repeatedly confessed that I'm drunk, there is nothing moral about that.

You know there are people out there who do not value electronics right?
And it's kind of ironic to hear from a bitcoin fanatic, that electronics isn't important to everyone

I missed your earlier reply in which you said you were drunk, so I'll let the discussion be for now.

I jumped to conclusions and possibly made a mistake. He expressed himself in a calm and respectful manner in the end. Bitcoin fanatics usually aren't able to do that.

Bah, I also work in projects and delivery, good for you Mark.

why are you all so bitter? Us working investors are probably the best holders because this is not the only chance.

So many judges around here, ironic when you tout freedom as your core values!

Not bitter at all, just many here think if you aren't HODLING, profit take and invest in other instruments your some kind of bitcoin traitor.

Kind of like how Islamic countries treat apostasy, I would be head first off a tall building or buried up to the neck catching big stones with my face lol.

Self-Custody is a right. Say no to"Non-custodial"

I've created an off-topic Wall Observer thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4188393.0

You have gotten this figured out, exactly.. infofront....

If you create an off topic thread, then that OT thread will become on-topic (OT)...

Genius!

Haha that's one possible outcome of the experiment.

I feel like such a guinea pig.
