People who write code are today's rock stars.

edit: and now they're driving around in Lamborghinis....that's gonna only add to that rep Smiley

Not necessarily true, more likely their bosses do that.

Not sure that picture holds. As a professional coder I get paid about $97000 per year, converted from NOK, by a large multinational company. Then comes about 40% income tax, which leaves me with $38800 per year or $3233 per month or $161 per day or $21 per hour or BTC0.029 per line, given the "think for an hour, write one line" mantra.

In other words 34.5 lines per BTC

How is a 40% tax of 97000 equal to 38800. Wouldn't that be a 60% tax?

As an open source coder, I've spent probably 1000 hours studying and writing code, for a sum, as of last night, of 0.084 btc.
oh well. the process was educational, and I learned about the detailed inner workings of bitcoin, and that's priceless.

Weekend dips are hardly TA. Less new money is a fairly sound thing to base predictions on is it not? Tell me what are YOUR predictions based on if not "technical analysis"? Lel

Really? I was working under the impression the Wikipedia definition was more or less correct:

"In finance, technical analysis is a security analysis methodology for forecasting the direction of prices through the study of past market data, primarily price and volume. [...] Technical analysis is frequently contrasted with fundamental analysis, the study of economic factors that influence the way investors price financial markets. Technical analysis holds that prices already reflect all such trends before investors are aware of them. Uncovering those trends is what technical indicators are designed to do, imperfect as they may be." (emphasis mine)
