I totally expected the bottom to dropout the last few hours... Now i'm not so sure...

I guess we should not underestimate support, in the Chinese market as well.

I'm no bear.

I'm holding and I was a bit scared to be honest.

Just on MtGox we have $60m in bids....$60k in asks.

I believe it is easy to manipulate the price upwards with low buy volume but try to drop the price by selling...

Big resistance on 800$ definitely. Hopefully it will hold and launch another rally.

Looks like the last weak attempt at a rally. If we break $900 today I predict it will be the last chance to sell above $900 for at least 6 weeks.

6 weeks? lol..

So much fear.  Must be a good time to buy (ahead of deposit Monday).  Cat is out the bag.

The only remotely bad news in the past month has come out of China, and that's been largely overblown.  Everything else is on the up and up.  Going to take more than an [arguably] predictable Chinese gov't position to cause a longer term bear market imo.

Ask sum on Gox is already over 40k btc. Been steadily rising for at least a week. Lots of selling pressure is building up.

It's not easy putting your BTC under a mattress for a few years, is it?

Sure it is if that's your thing. I enjoy trading for fun and profit. To each his own.

Oh and here it is: the last time we break $900 in 2013 on Gox. Grin

With the volatility, 16 days is enough long time to break $900 several times.

Specially in the market when 850-920 is pattern repeated 20 times in last 10 days.
