"Drink real beer, pay with virtual money."

Too bad that what Heineken makes can't really be called beer ^^
If only they were as good at making beer as at marketing...

I'm starting to wonder if the USD exchanges are beginning to tell China to screw off.  The Chinese can panic and do whatever they want but we're not going to jump off of a cliff just because they choose to.  The interplay between the Chinese and USD exchanges will be an interesting one to follow the next few days I think.

Why does everyone hate Heineken.

It's a easy and dumb way to pretend you have good taste.

Why does everyone hate Heineken.

It's one of the worst beers in the world that barely deserves the name beer.
If you have any respect for your taste buds you should limit yourself to Belgian beers and a select few from other countries.

There is only ONE good beer coming from the Netherlands and thats La Trappe.

tried to make this thread not a troll box, this why i made it self moderated, i had planed to delete the trolls post!

but whos to say who's correct??? who am i to delete a bearish comment??? why wouldn't i be allowed to post bullish stuff even after bitcoin spiked to 266$???

everyone knows bitcoin is likely to hit both 600$ and 1200$ in the next 5 mins

bitcoin is crazy like that!

the point is I let anyone say anything they want.

this thread is a free market!

and its why we love it.

now... bitcoin is crashing! you might want to sell me more coins, today, now, do it, do it now, do it do it do it !

I guess you're Belgian. Heineken's not bad and Heineken for bitcoins frikin awesome but if the Belgians know anything its beer Smiley

I'm Dutch.

Heineken is terrible. Belgian beer is typically superior to Dutch beer (though some nice Dutch beers exist).

I've been waiting for this moment for quite a while.
China that , China this , let's see the truth behind those trading volumes.
Also China was all about speculation , not real use and that isn't the right path in my opinion.

Here's a tip, if you have any respect for Bitcoin, the next time one of the largest consumer brands in the world decides to help us out, instead of shit talking their product why don't you just smile, suck it up, and take one for the team.

I don't agree with the sentiment that there are only a few select countries that produce good beer, though it does differ, based on what you are into. The key to finding a good beer is research and trying new stuff. I've been toying with the idea of setting up an online off license for craft ales where you can pay with Bitcoin, I think it'd work well.

In defense of Heineken: Those who think it's "total shit" obviously never drank a really bad beer.

It's bland. Not really great. Bit watery. But far from completely shit, I would say.

Roll Eyes

its really happening! bitcoin is going mainstream.

I maintain that the drop is caused by panic sellers, that bought at 400$ only to make a quick buck, and the falling price is a huge buying opt.

if you think bitcoin is dead, because its highly volatile, go buy an ounce of gold, and leave us to our own devices.

or you can sell bitcoins now and buy them back at $60  Roll Eyes or even $10

Meanwhile - bear flag on gox

Lol

Three issues with this post:

1. They did what they're doing for profit, not to help us out. Bitcoin is wonderful for merchants.
2. The idea that a company as large as this would read this forum and get butthurt and then change their "mind" is LOL.
3. It's genuinely a horrible beer.

Sorry sometimes we all have to troll.
