I’m not thrilled to see that three states have had their strategic Bitcoin reserve plans shot down already and nobody has managed to cross the finish line yet, but I have high hopes for Utah on March 7th. It seems every time companies or states have a vote on Bitcoin they vote no. I’d love to see someone break the seal.
Well Utah knows about the seal much more than any state in the usa. SO MAYBE IT HAPPENS. We can hope. With FTX funds going out next week, countries showing they’re stacking, states lining up to vote on proposals… We could see things get very exciting very quickly. I’m crossing my fingers for Utah to lead the way and who knows, maybe GameStop adopting BTC (maybe) will get some other big companies off of 0. |

I somehow inadvertently inserted myself into this wager, out of frustration, mostly... However, i am more than happy to be the third adjudicator in this and also act as a third reminder of such wager! Rules are crystal clear, that i am sure i will not be needed.

OK so maybe the haiku was a little too cryptic. Here's in plain prose. Man... He, of all people... Who would've thunk? He is Dutch. In The Netherlands there's a "wealth tax" on all assets, independent of capital gains. The bad guy in me is thinking that he just sold a nice chunk and bought some American paper btc. The rest of his stash, he never had in the first place - did he? - or, you know, The Netherlands are surrounded by water, so boats are plenty. An accident is always around the corner. |

Even if you win this bet, you will be at losing end because you will get 0.0003 Btc in case you win. 0.0003 BTC will be of less value if BTC went below 90k. Imagine worth of 0.0003 BTC on Jan 1, 2027 ? So a kind of win-win for me. |

I stopped respecting that loser when S2F died a miserable death 4 years ago. The fact he still argues his models are valid is hilarious. This is another string to his loser bow. Don’t have heroes in Bitcoin, guys. They will more often than not, disappoint you. Now, when are we going to break out of this crab market, damn it. |

IIRC I and JJG were the only two not extolling his virtues, I personally pointed out he did not account for DERIVATIVES which was his downfall and I forget what JJG's beef was but it was probably that the guy didn't cost average! |
