You mean the Shrem Karpeles & Friends Foundation? Latest tweet from TwoBitItidiot... "Thanks, man. I never mince words, I think this is disastrous from a reg standpoint. The hammer will now come down hard." The conspiracy theorist in me can't help but to think the bitcoin foundation was compliant in all this and intentionally deceived the community. They have been very pro regulation for a long time, and what better way to ensure the US comes down hard with regulation than making a grand show of what can happen without it. Karpeles is out, Shrem was shutdown so he should be out too. There has to be a way for the Foundation to have trustworthy members, then I guess we can do this audit thingy I proposed. From the little I have read, I believe that Shrem and Karpeles were not just two members of the board among many, but were two of the founding members --- which may have been as few as two or three. How could people trust the remaining members, who may have been selected and brought in by those two? If the honest members of the board could not get the Foundation to expel Shrem and Mark right away, they should have left it themselves. The current members of the board did not do either, so ... If the community wants to clean up bitcoin's image, it should dis-authorize the Bitcoin Foundation and start another one, with a different name and with people who were not associated to the BF. |

its very clear mark moved mtgox to gox.com and paid off jpy to go clean. When gox.com is located in diffrent country with diffrent rules. Then the 750k coins is back out of nowhere at gox.com and mark blame the old server for their defaults. Its all planned months ago, who knows mark hired his team also to buy cheap coins at BB  Its a sick strategy |

Actually you can claim $50K as unauthorized or not credited and may be able to get it back. I got my money back from BTC-E that way. |

Actually you can claim $50K as unauthorized or not credited and may be able to get it back. I got my money back from BTC-E that way. How do u claim it as unauthorized? |
