Any long time bears thinking about calling this the floor (or close to it)?

Should have had some fun panic selling by now, but there's been none in the last 30 minutes (in fact, seems like the insider trading 2 hours ago was the biggest rundown we may see).

I want to hear from you bears.  How do you view the situation right now?  Slowly turning positive?

Adam, I'd risk 50 BTC at 0.001.

I've seen Manchester City winning Premier League while losing in 91st minute of the last season game, I'd close my eyes and pray for them to somehow come back and send me 50k BTC  Grin

If that document is true, how in the hell did they lose 750,000 BTC? That is insane.

Classic gox.

Sad thing is, they've been hacked before and should have learned how to balance the books back then.  I guess the large, dessert-like coffees were just too irresistible.

Why aren't the exchanges crashing is my question.

Give them few minutes

This event was already priced in by speculators.

don't get your hopes up just yet

I would gladly trade my small vestigial position on Gox to have it gone, but things rarely work out the way I want

If gox is solvent this is bad for Bitcoin. What will happen when people get their 100* profits from BB? They will DUMP sending BTC to $5

Can you guys imagine the tantrum Karpeles is having... throwing his keyboard and chair across the room as he shuts down the mtgox website in response to the coinbase blog.

Given this I fully expect to see $450, perhaps even lower. This is a unique not run-of-the-mill crash. This is Aprils crash, plus the silk road crash, all rolled into one. But...

THIS TOO SHALL PASS.

I won't be happy until Mark is in jail or in a coffin. A lot of people lost a lot of money because of his shithole magic the gathering online xchange.
But how many people gained money because of MtGox?

Him and his employees... And whoever figured out the way to steal the 750,000 BTC. Anyone else who made money there paid fees to do so, so they are excluded.

TBH 750k coins is a hell of a lot to steal without notice, I suspect they were behind it all along. Nobody can do anything about it now lol.

I'm guessing that since the coins were slowly leaked over years, it didn't all go to one entity.
