Do you have any proof of sending 50k to mtgox? This is not speculation is throwing money off the window. You might win, but still it's stupid to do.

That's amazing. You're willing to risk all that money?
This isn't my only deposit to gox recently and may not be the last one either. I simply do not buy the idea that mtgox is insolvent. They have made far too many BTC since they came online in 2010. I don't feel like I'm taking much risk and if mtgox has lost 50% of their BTC I still win. Honestly, what are the odds mtgox has lost 50% of their bitcoin?

Pretty good. Sorry about your loss..

You have got to be fucking kidding me.

When does this guy, finnaly realize... that he is bringing people whom have lost so much by the cause of MTgox, into desperation and buy big time on Bitcoinbuilder?

My opinion... shut this guy the fuck up. I am sure some ex wealthy silk road users is up for this task. The force is strong in this one.

Dear MtGox Customers,

In the event of recent news reports and the potential repercussions on MtGox's operations and the market, a decision was taken to close all transactions for the time being in order to protect the site and our users. We will be closely monitoring the situation and will react accordingly.

It was posted and discussed at length. I think its fake.. the redacted page of what looks to be a balance sheet can be edited when downloaded so you can see the actual numbers.

all in all kudos to all the other exchanges for being on the ball and keeping their customers calm and up to date

FUCK YOU GOX FOR PUTTING A MESSAGE YOU NEEDED TO PUT UP 12hrs ago UP NOW LOL

Likely more lies to give them time to get away.   They must know they will be found, assests seized.  If I was them I'd be sure to have many bodyguards around me.

Did anyone email bitstamp and ask them to check if that 10K was Mark?  Hopefully they froze the fiat withdrawal already.

+1

The only downside of today (for me at least, sorry to all those who lost funds with Gox), is having to deal with comments like this:

"Did you not hear Bitcoin is dead, aren't you a fool for promoting it"
"How much money did you lose"
"All those pedophiles and terrorists must be upset"

It's painful to try and explain the difference between Bitcoin the technology/currency, and Mt Gox the (criminally) incompetent exchange with all the herping and derping..

So they're saying the news about their shutdown caused them to shutdown?

Nice watching this soap unfold...
