The recovery is maxed out for now. It's going to take at least a day to consolidate and break $520 if not longer.

The market is far from rational right now. I doubt this will be our last time going past $500 again. The fact that this recovery is occurring at super speed is shocking.

We'll be sub $400 within days. We'll be testing $300 before we start meaningful sustained upwards movement again.

Source?

Shroomskit, I've been noticing you over the past couple of days and you're like a chicken with it's head removed.
If you are unable to form an opinion of your own, it might be in your best interest to stop trading and decide once and for all:

HODL or SODL...

I don't trade you idiot. I just find it interesting how all these people seem to exactly know what's gonna happen in the future. And welcome to my ignore list.

Wow, so defensive... Glad to hear you don't trade, I can image you would have lost a lot otherwise. It's amusing that you think others know exactly what's going to happen. Most of the people here use the simplest forms of TA to make a statement. Instead of being so but-hurt and asking "source" everywhere, why don't you try and educate yourself?

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

From a sane point of view, a million customer company just doesn't VANISH out of thin air and hopes it gets away with it. No speculative intentions here but I 'm willing to wait some more and won't panic at the moment.

Cheers.

PS note that MtGOX said many times "our client's coins are safe" but never "our clients will eventually get all their coins out".   Undecided

Is there any big reason why not some of the heavy hitters would accuire mtgox and try to revive it as newgox/whatever pretty soon?
It must surely be a very profitable businiess if done right?

Even a noob like me can imagine some plan to collect reputable bitcoin pros, put a in few hundred thousand coins and slowly regain faith and momentum?

Must be millions of early, sleeping coins ready to work?

And to take control of the currect "powervacuum" must be a pretty big target?

Gox.com
What do you think about our logo? In our opinion, the change depicts the fresh start, the new possibilities. With rebranding, we will no longer be just about a Bitcoin market — we have many ideas to deploy on the cryptocurrency landscape. Stay tuned!

The above is their new post on facebook.... it's clear to me at least is fake.....

https://www.facebook.com/goxbitcoin

Yeah the more they talk the more fake they look (which was already a lot to start with)
Classic mistake.

Why would somebody actually buy Gox right now ? It is a bad investment. Their brand is worth $-1 right now.

The problem is...a monkey would know to put some text on keyboard or leave the webpage with a statement instead of a blank white page, with a cryptic message in the source view.

I do right now feel like the scribd + gox.com + facebook evidence are just apart of the greatest attempt at social engineering FUD I've ever seen.

ok so there is over 1500 BTC ask on stamp @520$ versus 1500 BTC bids @450€. we are at around 500$ right now. any dump would collapse by at least 10% of the current price since there is not much of a support but clearly a nice resistance around 520$.

Place your bids gentlemen and happy fudgox games! Cheesy

I would buy it, and re-code most of the site, it is a free boost, gox is known and when people know that owners changes they will give you a chance, in other wise I wont be buying the site but I would be buying customers...

now if we only knew if they really lost the coins...

Gox.com
a few seconds ago
Since Bitcoin, many new cryptocurrencies have arrived. It is a good thing, certainly Litecoin, that processes transactions faster and is more fair to the CPU miners. Do you use any of these alternative currencies?

this is the last post of gox.com on facebook....

It wouldn't surprise me, the fact that they haven't briefed all channels of communications with a set statement leads me to believe MK is on a search for cold storage safes Cheesy
