Why is the price going up in reaction to good news?
Is the topsy turvy world being flipped right side up?

interest 404 not found
nobody wants to buy more than 50 dollars per btc for what bitcoin has to offer (virtually nothing but risks and issues)
whole btc market only constituted by a handfull of whales toying with price waiting for the final blow
yet the conspiracists, fat geeks and paranoiacs (99% of cultists) will keep dreaming about the world collapsing and bitcoin being the answer
what am i doing, bitcoin isn't even worth trolling anymore
Finally someone who gets it. Please... do not let us keep you both... sure you must be very busy chaps

Transparency to pricing, lol. Sounds like they are investing to undermine and eliminate the competition. Well played, NYSE. No, that's not the way you do it these days. You buy the company, fire 3/4 of the staff immediately, list the company name in your holdings, fire the rest of the staff six months later then quietly drop their name from your holdings 2-3 years later.

it seems like is pretty good news even if the trolls are trying to twist it into bad news. the reason why it's not going down is because the 'four punch raiders' haven't been raiding lately. apparently no new whales have appeared to harpoon yet. or something like that. i think bitcoin might be set to start moving upwards again soon. i like see go up but we could use more time down here in these lows too.

Free market. Stop crying. This is what Bitcoiners want. Conflict of interest happens even on traditional platforms. However a decentralized exchange would solve this age old issue. Phil G. Potter is a major stakeholder of Bitfinex and has administrative access to the backend platform including direct access to the database and is often present on a teamspeak voice channel where around 200 trader chat and share trading analysis. Yesterday he was asked if he trades on his own platform Bitfinex, to which he replied yes. He was then grilled "don't you think that is a conflict of interests because you have special access to the platform?" - that is, he can see things normal traders cannot, like hidden orders, the size of everyone's accounts, the open margin positions of accounts, exact trading activity of each user, how much USD is flowing into and out of the exchange (he would have the competitive advantage of knowing when big players are feeling bullish). All of this gives a huge competitive advantage. After this questions, he tried to back-pedal but made it worse by trying to justify it by saying because he is an early adopter (meaning he has a lot of coins and qualifies as a whale) he "only trades a little bit here and there". Personally, I think it's disgusting. If he wants to trade ethically he should be trading on an exchange to which he doesn't have insider information and direct access to the database, or better still, don't trade. The revenue he makes from the exchange fees should be compensation enough. Footnote: you can listen in to teamspeak on http://vaughnlive.tv/whaleclub or connect using Teamspeak to desticraft.fr:9988

Yep, there are many complaints of users of Forex exchanges having to compete with the exchange's own currency desk. Of course, the government can always pass laws. Then everyone thinks they're protected and it still happens anyway.

Good morning Bitcoinland.
I half expected to see $210 again but it's actually up a couple of bucks. Whoopee.
Still going sideways. Ho hum. Yawn.
Slightly overspent my Bitcoin allowance stocking up at $175 last week and I'm hoping the price will stay low long enough to buy some more with my mid-week revenues before the probable rally.
Mmmm. Coffee.
