Explanation
It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

nice little bull trap.

220 soon?

Personally I closed my short. Oversold and solid bounce with a Dragonfly Doji (on the 6h chart)
There is room for Up, then decision point. Bulls putting up a solid fight.  Smiley

you may still want to hold on to your fiat as i think this downtrend isn't over yet... because in addition to what US marshals hold, MtGOX liquidation coins, and other stolen coins new money will have to absorb additional stolen 130,000 bitcoins.. of course that's just on records there could be more who knows i mean evo moved 50 mil worth of stuff... so smart money don't intend to end up bagholders... in the meantime longs are building up for epic squeeze and evo thieves are probably moving thousands through mixers and anon coins before selling them off to manipulators at a discount... i wouldn't be surprised if there's already underground market for stolen bitcoins just like what we have for stolen credit cards.. i mean these thieves or hackers aren't stupid to dump stolen coins on well established exchanges especially when the ledger is in public view so my guess is pretty soon "brand new" evo coins reach legal exchanges in one way or another...

not sure those were bulls fighting but rather massive shorts that pushed us below 250 closing.

I am on the sidelines, closed some shorts from 268 (those from 295 I am not touching)  and waiting maybe for a new entry point (to short ofc  Grin). but I am skeptical, many bagholders above 250 and those massive longs are just waiting for a better exit point.

Bitcoin is now officially dead. Sell what you have left and go home!

Nothing left to see here!

Only rich people should afford to hold their BTC to 0.

Poor people should sell while they can still get some fiat.

Crypto isn't the solution.

Facebook Money is!

How much do you lost by trading BTC? Smiley

It's like a game - you've got to be skilled and smart and always learn how to trade better.

One's winning, one's not winning. Don't need to be angry at bitcoin because of your bad trading imho.

Cloudmining companies are experiencing a lot of troubles with their websites the last couple of days. Megamine.com is offline regularly, and so is genesis-mining.com and zeushash.com. Fishy...
Nothing fishy about us, we just have connectivity issues at our hosting provider for the front end which we have told all of our customers about in an update email. Our mining is totally unaffected and of course our customers can just email our order or support team if they need anything done.

We hope to have it fixed fully soon but we are in the hands of the underlying people that are hosting it to fix it. These things do happen I'm afraid.

I had a dream last night I was watching the charts (anyone else dream about BTC charts?) and there was a mega green candle, and we were back up to the $800's. Obviously only a crazy dream.  Cheesy
Weird, I had the same dream a month ago. Only it went to 850 and I bailed before it crashed to 650 and stayed there.

i had a dream i was ski down a mountain of bitcoins and there was ducks and chinese people in rocketships with their pets getting bitcoin from other chinese people while flaming trains were roaring by and then suddenly i was on a boat with t-pain and a bunch mermaids while Poseidon was looking at me.. crazy dream!

Good morning Bitcoinland.

Still grinding along in the $245-$250 range I see, except for a short-lived little beartrap dip below $240.

Ho hum.

Yeah they weren't able to induce a big dump there, which is very interesting. There's still some hope left. Not much, I agree, but there is!

Thanks Justin. FYI I was not implying there is something fishy about Megamine itself.
