i feel depressed. this price is depressing. the fact that it will go even lower is also fueling more depression feelings, thinking about 26M in longs all getting squizzed crashing price 30% in a hour makes me want to puke. this is the beginning of the end, this is bitcoins last breath, this is not gentlemen

Honestly, I grew tired of investing in bitcoin long ago.  I cut myself off after going long some more at 220.  I'm a HODLer now.  My fate is in the hands of the Bitcoin gods now.  If we breach 210 I may even just cut my loss and close my long.

Now, I'm shifting new funds back to some stocks that I KNOW will be higher at the end of the year.  It makes me feel better.

There's just not enough adoption, not enough good news & not enough real fiat being pumped into bitcoin.
Bears are killing this thing, sending us lower & lower.

Not really the way to look at it.  Let's compare this low (assuming we are close to the bottom) to the low in June 2013.  Bitcoin is still up 383% since then.

I wonder when a bullwhale will take advantage of the shorts, and all the longs for sale on the ask side of bitfinex. You could pick up an auction amount of coins without much slippage. All while killing a bear whale with bad tactics.

It's almost as if there is only one whale running this thing and he is in bear mode right now. Shorting to drop the price, putting leveraged longs for sale to create huge ask depth, and picking up cheap coins as a result. Then he closes out shorts into his longs both for profit,  after he gobbles up several thousand cheap coins. A great way to play with other people's money to pick up cheap coins unless another whale finds out.

Not if bearwhale has inside info from exchanges and he knows how much fiat is actually there.

i wish i had never learned about bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general / that this horrible evil thing didn't exist ... i think satoshi might be the anti-christ and bitcoin may be the mark of the beast ushering in the apocalypse ... if you think about it if the anti-christ were to come he'd come in the form of a faceless Xillionaire overlord with a cult of followers ... so ... yeah ... i feel more and more suicidal every day since i discovered bitcoin 2 years ago ... and this is coming from someone in the black ... i wish the whole thing would just fucking implode with satoshi selling his million coins and bringing every exchange to 0 ... then i and everyone else could just move on with our lives ...
