Section 200.5 Application fees As part of an application for licensing under this Part, each applicant must submit an initial application fee, in the amount of five thousand dollars, to cover the cost of processing the application, reviewing application materials, and investigating the financial condition and responsibility, financial and business experience, and character and general fitness of the applicant. If the application is denied or withdrawn, such fee shall not be refunded. Each Licensee may be required to pay fees to the Department to process additional applications related to the license. That should keep the little hopeful shrimp out of it! HOW FUCKING DARE THIS GUY PREVENT THE LOWER HALF OF THE ECONOMY NOT EVEN TO HAVE A CHANCE. I will not use ANY service that follows this shit. Pack your bags and go to NJ or something. Vi Va La Resistance! I'm surprised they don't have a clause requiring businesses to retain the services of a licensed and recognized consulting group in order to maintain compliance within the regulations (which will be subject to change without notice, and retroactively enforceable) ... This whole thing is such a farce. Disgusting really to see the blatant corruption in the system. Reminds me of this: http://trilema.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/crime-of-being-american.jpg

How much does the bitLicense cost excluding the five thousand dollars application fee? I doubt it's cheap enough to give the little shrimps a chance.

That is not entirely true. Sometimes (but rarely) they move very small amounts of bitcoin over to bitstamp: https://blockchain.info/tx/64fe5d31d163cf200729135ba2afb20a806415ee9d24122c52099671668b544fBut overall its very very small compared to the large volume of bitcoins they process daily. I have been tracking them for a few months and I had wondered where they were selling all of their bitcoins, but it appears although they move the coins to various address and they just sit there. I thought it was my own lack of chain analysis ability not being able to find where they sell them, but now we know that they do actually keep the majority of them. It's even better that millionaires+ see the usefullness of bitcoin and want to add it to their own portfolios. Good stuff

Those of us who have HODL'd & bought whilst the price has been low for so long will have a good laugh at all the bears drowning in debt as the price rises. Your time is over bears, submit to the rise of bitcoin, mainstream adoption is just around the corner. COIN ETF & Gemini Exchange next then moon.

The best part is the "conditioned shorters", the people that keep shorting at each new top, expecting price to go back down, will get hit the hardest and then call bitcoin a POS because they lost so much fiat. There used to be a guy named Newbie-something that made this mistake on a few of the run ups and lost his shirt. Of course they will all claim that they "recovered their losses on volatility" in order to save their ego, but we all know that's BS

Yep. More good news. Like Mr. Buffett says, panic when others are hopeful. Wise words. LFC_Bitcoin, how much money have you lost on Bitcoin, up to and including today? You're not doing anything crazy like actually buying right now, are you? If you don't mind, could you elaborate more Mr. Buffett's word as I didn't get it. Thanks.

Can anyone tell me what it is in this final release of BitLicense that has changed so dramatically from the version that was vociferously objected to a few weeks ago? According to that speech 'not much'. Banks may feel more comforatble with dealing with 'bitlicensed' companies, but can BitCompanies live with the license? Genuine question, not trolling If nothing significant has actually changed I can't see how this is anything new or why the market should react at all 'Unamended BitLicense, previously published, finally finalised, RALLY !!! '

Bro, if you don't mind, what is "Coin ETF" ?Thanks http://insidebitcoins.com/news/winklevoss-bitcoin-etf-still-on-track-in-addition-to-gemini-exchange/29373What is an ETF? ETF stands for exchange-traded fund, and is an investment fund that tracks an index, specific asset or basket of assets. Many aspects of the market are covered by ETFs. First introduced in 1989, ETFs are similar to index funds, but unlike index funds, ETFs can be bought and sold throughout the day on the stock exchange. They have low management fees, sometimes as low as 0.04%. http://www.investopedia.com/articles/investing/041114/why-winklevoss-twins-new-bitcoin-etf-matters.asp
