bitcoin fought the chasm in the adoption cyle. now it's clear it will not become the new instagram, facebook or google. not even the new internet. not even a industrial revolution like steam, electricity, computerization.
it will become a paradigm shift from centralization to dezentraliation.
no more contracts, notarys, lawmakers, goverments needed.
we will move on to the society of citizens, where democray and freedom is trustless.
a new dawn. you're welcome, gentleman.
You forgot to say that bitcoin will end poverty (read it in Forbes, and Sir Branson approves). It will also end election fraud (see Swarm and the Bitcoin Foundation election). It will also give each human being his due share of land (Factom will see to it) It will also let the unbanked in rural Africa order cocaine through their iPhones (conflating a bit). It will also cure cancer, obesity, baldness, and erectile disfunctions (obviously). It will also fix the extremely unequal distribution of wealth. Wait, no, nobody wants that.

What we are trying to do here is remove the power to create and control the money supply from a corrupt, small group of individuals. Nothing more. Nothing less.

Shorts at 28500.
I could understand this if we had actually broken down to the 210s, but 28500 here makes little sense. Looks like covering shorters are going to keep us afloat for a while.

Big player shorts then sells, lemmings follow. Stack bids and start covering and buying as college kids short into the bids. Big buy forces new shorts to exit at a loss. Price moves back up. Rinse and repeat. Oh and add in a few useful idiots preaching doom on here.

BFX hack was pretty limited. OKcoin didn't go belly up (yet) either all those shorters will get squeezed soon, not many cheap coins left for shorting I have the same sense. I really can't see prices getting a whole hell of a lot lower... There have been so many attempts in the last six months, and really, does NOT seem like there are a lot of sellers in the lower $200s price range.

Any seasonsed traveller in that space knows - things can always get worse. More scary is that they tend to get better faster than you can react as well. In other words this is gambling, not investing.
