Tbh, I don't trust any online exchangers.

If I will use one, I will never leave any bitcoins or usd there, just make the exchange and withdraw asap.

If it's true, users to be blamed, they must learned the lesson from the previous accidents.

Lets see the coming hours what it's holding to us.

And as usual, the coming hours are critical.

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

BTC-E

I can imagine a host of issues when US and EU regulators starts throwing their weight around. It had to happen. Just a matter of time.

All sites are subject to offline time sometimes. Like Bitcointalk.

It's too soon to panic

Of course. Let's see how this works out.

15 minutes ago: Maintenance is almost done. After checking all our databases the service will come online. Thanks.

That is great news! Thx!

Disaster averted!

meh, i think btce is fine. certainly feel better about them than the chinese exchanges, or stamp. they've always acted honorably IMO, and their trading engine is top notch.

can you treat it like a bank? well, no. Tongue

We're keeping it stable for a while so people stop saying that Bitcoin cannot be stable (some people complained about volatility in the past, now it's traders complaining)

Enough stability. This is painful. I'll take a doom drop to $100 if it will bring some life back to the market. Undecided

Believe me, I would be much happier about things if I knew how to code a good bot. Smiley
