I think there is something a company could do to incentivize bitcoin more. Yes bitcoin is a financial loss at this point. I got into it to avoid reporting my earnings to the IRS while i'm living abroad. I got a bitcoin rechargeable debit card. I pay the extra price for the benifit of having the money not under immediate surveillance by the IRS. Yes there is a possibility they could find my information because the company required I give them my government ID and they may have reported it to a third party i'm not sure. But things like this will make bitcoin valuable. You don't have to be a pedophile or a murderer to see purpose in bitcoin. And it is a do it yourself solution to banking. The only one out there. So it's somewhat worth the risk.

Bitcoin won't be able to compete with the US Dollar or Credit networks i'm pretty sure. It will however endure as a method of payment for people who wish to go around those systems.

And I still think there is some innovation that could incentivize bitcoin further. It's just at this point most of the money is outside of bitcoin, so most people are paying for it to fail rather than succeed. Naturally I think bitcoin would be doing allot better had not so many interests be invested in destroying it.

Also some people are just natural risk takers. And will do unusual things against the better advice of society. Sometimes these people change history for the better.
