Is it the dump now or just a small drop before an other huge pump ? ^^
dump always append Thursday ... hm... the weekend is approaching. I think i'll go long a bit longer. No more stop losses for me. Volatility is very high. 9 - 10 dollars in one day price movements. This is a different market than it used to be. New money has come in.

It appears that trading volume is grinding to a standstill. It looks like nobody wants to sell bitcoin cheap no more. I see $300 in the horizon
I really hope so but I have my doubts that we're ready for 300 now. I've been hurt & kicked to death by the long bear market, it takes a lot to trust again For the short term I just really hope 250 can hold. I do not want to go down into the 220-230's ever again.

Is there someplace to short LTCBTC?
Bitfinex I guess I should look before asking, I thought that was just for ltcusd. Thanks, I'll check. edit: I guess I missed the opportunity, when I asked LTCBTC was up 26% over 24h IIRC

I think anything below 300 is cheap. I will probably stop buying once we pass 300 again.

Also there have been questions raised about OKcoin's liquidity and some say it is operating on fractional reserves like Mt Gox before it went bankrupt, although I don't know if the rumors are true or not. https://www.okcoin.com/t-92.htmlOKCoin Futures releases 20x Leverage in Fixed Margin trading mode. With this increased leverage, we urge investors to manage their risk carefully.

Regardless of their liquidity, their competence was called into question with all the crap surrounding their beef with Roger Ver. That's enough to turn me off. If you can suck up whatever your exposure is there if it vapourises then more power to you.

My flag to stop buying, isn't a number (like 300). When it becomes very expensive for me to increase my stash with a very small percent, I'll stop buying

250 didn't hold, so it's drifting down for now. Yesterday was a very big run-up, so people taking profit isn't necesarrily something to worry about. Definitely worth monitoring though to see if the breakout will follow through of it will drift back down to $230's.

Good morning Bitcoinland. Still fighting for $250 I see.
Hopefully the $230s are gone for good. A little rest stop in the high $240s wouldn't hurt though.
Slowly and steadily up is best but at least it hasn't been boring these last couple of days.
Up is better than down.

I wonder if Yellen's speach in two and a half hour will have any effect.

I wonder if Yellen's speach in two and a half hour will have any effect.
Good point. Higher interest rates in the U.S. would have a negative effect on BTC prices. So any confirmation of an upcoming interest rate hike would lead to a lower BTC. On the flip side, any delay of the hike would lead to higher BTC. However, past updates from Yellen have had minimal impact on the price.
