I've read elsewhere that the Chinese themselves are a bit stumped as to what it means. As ever it's a rather obtuse place. Not sure anyone in authority there can be depended on to be consistent. That ain't how they  roll.

What could possibly go wrong?

You're right of course. Just look at how they dealt with the stockmarket this summer. And commodities before that. And banks. And Bitcoin in 2013. Looks like the chapter on "Rule of Law" got fucked over by Google Translate.

Looks like it's the USD (and EUR) markets pulling their own weight today. Maybe we can return the favour and give China a nudge for once ... Tongue

If this is indeed a parallel universe we are living in then we aren't jumping to 10k, top to top last bubble was only 400%, so top of the next one would be $4800

yes ... an order of magnitude rise is almost overdue on the time-price self-similar waves recurring since 2009.

Multi-thousands is the next ATH

^ As if you're any less greedy, only difference is, you're betting in the other direction ^_^

That said, that graph is the biggest pile of sh*t TA I've seen in a long time. Sorry guys.

I think the biggest problem with valuations over 10k is that it is one thing to say yes it is possible based on past performance, but in reality look how much governments have reacted to its tiny 4 billion cap today.

$100k bitcoin would bring the wrath of 1000 governments reigning down on our heads... just won't even make it that far unless there is a cook-the-frog strategy in place, like a 100 year cook-the-frog strategy.....

You're a competent trader from what I can tell, which requires some decent skill at short to mid term directional prediction.

I just don't generally trust anyone's ability for long term predictions based on technicals - not those predictions that were made by the uber bulls at the height of exuberance, and not those of the bears either.
