They tell us it was complex military planning and the internet/encryption is to blame (George Osbourne today). But to me it was 8 blokes meeting in a cafe and agreeing to die at 11pm. I wanted to ask people's views on whether the price would go up or down, but I didn't because I thought I would hijack the thread by going off topic. The Illuminati End Game Started conspiracy theory thread has more Bitcoin price movement discussion in it than this thread today.

5 years ago there was a census.  Being a procrastinator I hadn't returned the form so a lady came knocking on my door.  The last question asked for your race.  The reason for this is info for government programs.  I told her that if she wanted to pigeon hole me she could put me down as mammal.  Of course she just stared blankly at me.  To help her out I said, oh you are looking for a race, put me down as human, human race.
