Aston Martin is not a watered down brand.
Not since Ford dumped them for less than $1b to an investment group in Kuwait. Pretty, but heavy, poor handling, and terrible resale values for the non-classic cars. The DB9 is so pretty I don't care if it runs at all. I'd be very pleased just having one on a plinth in the garden.

Meh. Who needs those unreliable, flashy supercars. A man should own two cars: A Mercedes, probably S class (for being serious), and a Porsche, probably 911 (for fun). @fatman: And don't even think of saying Porsche is "watered down" because it's part of the Volkswagen group. That's the damn origin of the company after all, courtesy of Dr. Strangelove Ferdinand Porsche

I am confused. Does anyone know whats going on with the price.
HELLO! i know where price is going at all times what would you like to know? Should i buy buy buy or sell sell sell. In fairness its all pretty exciting, I have a lot of shares in J&J and the price hardly ever moves so the volatility of Bitcoin is great to watch. you should hodl hodl hodl. price is due to test 333, this will prove to be unbreakable support and then market will gain confidence, pop back up and start to demolish resistance at 380, and then head for 500 where we will briefly bounce violently between 400-500 untill mainstream media picks up on the story and they have "experts" come on TV setting price targets of 10K+. Immediately after the stunning and very convincing mass media hype price doubles over night, the world takes notice 2 weeks later we are at 10K+ and experts now predict the end of the FIAT by 2020, the world GOES NUTS, gramma dump her 401K's, China lifts its ban on bitcoin, we are at 32,000$ and climbing fast, Some kid in his basement creates a new type of digital currency, and everything start over again. Love it, so you are saying wait till it hits 32,000 dollars then sell. dont sell it for dollars, dollars will be losing value way to fast at that point, buy the NWO digital currency with BTC. What's the ticker symbol for the NWO digital currency?

@fatman
It's a bit more complicated than that, right?
The ownership relations are: Porsche <-- Volkswagen <-- Porsche Holding <-- Porsche & Piech families <-- Ashkenazi Spacelizards (the last one's for r0ach :3)

Aston Martin is not a watered down brand.
The current look of Aston Martin was developed under Ford ownership. The DB7 is riddled with Ford switches. The DB9 has the same Sat Nav as the Volvo XC90. ~40 years ago RR used a Chevy/GM alternator, what's your point? My car is 26 years old and I keep it for the kick ass stereo.

Yeah, you're right. But still impressive. And as you pointed out, they're related anyhow.

Pretty similar tastes. E39 M5 with manual trans instead of S class techno barge. Any 911 except 996 and 991. Cayman GT4 acceptable

My original point was that there are few premium brands that haven't been bought up by one of the large car companys and been watered down.

I'd skip the 964 as well.
Well, maybe at today's prices. Would have been nice to have filled a warehouse with them a decade ago.

Well, maybe at today's prices. Would have been nice to have filled a warehouse with them a decade ago. I have a list of cars for that warehouse. The only problem is that I'd probably never be able to sell any of them. It's better to buy BTC for now.

Looking nice now thanks for it. Now I can get my fix for tonight with the charts working again. Yes I agree, this thread is the first I come to now. Even with all the talks about cars and other BS It is still entertaining. And gets your mind off the price going slumping for a while.
