ETH is a worthless shitcoin.
bitcoin is Technically superior, more network effect, more limited in supply, more decentralized. POS HA What a JOke! I like it xD Well they gotta find a solution fast, or the dumping is going to be hard. I don't understand the reasoning of miners. maybe there is something I didn't understand...

Oh I see that people are finally starting to realize that bitcoin is a dead old horse, I was amazed with Ethereum when they released their first beta, the Block size cluster fuck debate just sped up things.

Full marks for consistency. Now go away for a year or two again and come back with more scary things to tell us while you eulogise the next coin. Cheers.

Well that's not a bad point in itself... But what's sure is that it's really different from BTC. Am I the only one to understand that it was not meant to be used as a currency though?

Can't it be used as a backbone, a "settlement layer" for currencies? In which case, how is it different from Bitcoin, which, as I understand it, is being groomed to be just that? *though my understanding of ETH is rather limited, won't lie. Why bloat the blockchain of my mind with useless infos?

Just because something is not limited in supply or meant to be a currency doesn't mean the price cannot accelerate to the upside far higher than is rational. I held a smattering of ETH but dumped them at 5x my buy in price. Bitcoin remains the nexus connecting all cryptocurrencies together. It has great challenges ahead of it, not scaling but simply governance and the sooner it can throw off the shackles of centralised development the ecosystem will be far better off IMO. Predictions are a fools game. But if I had to guess I would predict we are basing for resolution of this giant flag just before the halving. As long as the core development team don't put a spanner in the works we could have a nicely timed higher high (>500) leading to a halving pump upwards. I suspect this will drag up alts such as eth and monero in a much awaited bubble reminiscent of 2013.

It's very interesting that everyone is talking about ethereum in the "bitcoin price speculation". So I'll post my opinion too. I will not invest any money at all in eth because of the high inflation. BUT. I think I'll use the platform when it will be more developed. I think ETH is more about the technology, vs bitcoin. Bitcoin has proven that its technology works. Nowadays it's more about the price and the search for niche.
