Bitcoin still has a LONG way to go.

You know how I know? None of my non-techie friends, family, or colleagues have so much as heard anything about or mentioned this rise.  Undecided Even some of the techie ones have still yet to hear about it.

I've always said that I'll know that Bitcoin has truly made it when a certain few of them says to me, "So have you heard about this Bitcoin thing yet?"

I bought 10 coins in November at approx 700. Is that a small amount compare to other ppl here?

nope. that's way, way more than a lot of old school members on here. you'd be surprised how few many people have. of course no one may be telling the truth.

Welcome! I'd say that's in the middle on an exponential scale, or low on a linear one. That doesn't matter though. The main thing is to only invest a small part of your net worth, otherwise it will be a huge headache because bitcoin is so volatile.

One of the general rules around here is don't ask people how many bitcoins they have, because people with a lot don't want to reveal that in case that makes them a target for hacks, and the fact that there are a few people with those kinds of concerns means it's a field day for other people with no coins who want to sound mysterious and impressive (sad, eh?)

Enjoy the ride.

congratulations for joining the btc rocket, welcome to the forum, you did well.

only invest money that you can afford to lose. the upside potential is big, but it is very risky.

Central Banks of south pacific island nations, small african, asian and south american nations will begin buying bitcoin for settlement and reserves before any of the major nations.

Bitcoin is for the little guys to get into first, the doorways are too small for bigger players and need to grow. Grass roots growth is unstoppable for an idea who's time has come.
