And bearfinex has now joined bitstamp in breaking the old Gox ATH, but it's still not caught up with bitstamp's $1244 $1245 ATH.

Bitfinex just hit $1247, time for Bearstamp to catch back up! Off to the races  Grin

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

<snip>

b..but....media evil?

this "the media has an agenda" stuff is kinda funny anyhow. so much positive articles about bitcoin like in the last 3 months have never been before. no matter where you look everywhere folks get explained how bitcoin stuff works and why it has value and so on and on. but lets just ignore that and cry "media evil!"

So show me all these so-called 'positive' Bitcoin articles on Mainstream media sites like Bloomberg and Business Insider (and NOT on dedicated sites like Coindesk, CoinTelegraph, and CryptoCoinsNews).

Go on, I'll wait.

Here's another Bitcoin hit piece for ya while I'm waiting:

LOL. Yeah whatever, evil media is against Bitcoin. Sure it is. Move on.

Thought we just hit the new post MT.Gox ATH $1245 on yobit selling deem for.
Then come here and don't see a thing.

Morning disappointment. Cry

i didn't even know anybody is trading bitcoin/usd on yobit! last time i checked that site, their orderbook was pretty thin. and when i say thin it means orders with the size as big as 0.0001-0.001BTC volume the biggest one was some under price bid with 0.1BTC volume.

price is 1234 USD now Grin

The price of the bitcoin indeed definitely riding on the next day, but do you have a good kesiapaan to welcome the rising ..?? . Because if you just commented then that all is not going to make a good profit for you, your alias will only give advantage to those who just look at this thread. The price of the bitcoin next would be above $1100, because I saw in the last market transaction bitcoin has good things and it could have an impact both for the price of the bitcoin

Look at this insane buy wall, I haven't seen something similar in a while on Stamp.

It's the opposite on bitfinex, there's a massive sell wall, but it's getting eaten anyway. Bitstamp and bitfinex are playing leapfrog with each other for the ATH.

By the time you've posted and by the time I've checked Bitfinex, which is less than <30 seconds from your post the wall is already gone. What's our target for today? $1300?

What was the ATH for unconfirmed transactions?

I couldn't believe that wall got eaten so fast. I'm hesitant to guess $1300 for today, but the speed the price is moving has me wondering. I'm starting to wonder if we will see 5x the current ATH in the next few months. We haven't had a 2013 style rally in years, it's about time for another.

edit

There's only ~400 coins for sale up to almost $1300 on stamp.

A fine early good morning Bitcoinland.

Seems we've already accomplished several things on our to-do list.

ATH, check.

Gox finally laid to rest, check.

Gold ounce parity, check.

$20B market cap, check.

All is well in Bitcoinland... currently $1224USD at Bitcoinaverage.

Let's not stop here. Go Bitcoin go.

Well, it is all good, but 20bil is not a large sum on wall street these days.
A company that helps you make pictures that disappear after a while will be worth at least this much today.
A side note...coinbase seems to enjoy trading and making money with my deposit money that did not show up in my account after almost a week.
Maybe, I should switch away.

So what price would it have to return to make people feel sad? $900? $800? $700?

This action won't last forever. The question is whether it's just beginning to rev up or run out of steam.
