RSI is really overbought on the daily Bitstamp chart at 90. Last time RSI was 90 was back on January 3 the day before we had a $389 drop. $1780 was also an important Fibonacci extension.

A few days ago it was a dream to say we would ever hit $2000 this year. In a few years we'll be crying about a dump to $9000. Just bookmark this page and read all about it years from now we all know Bitcoin is about as random as it gets with price, nobody could have accurately predicted this price rise and have made the prediction believable at the same time.

Armory still the best. Rewards the effort with unbeaten security and subtlety like coin control. Master seed can be split onto two stamped steel plates then stored in separate bank vaults in two different jurisdictions.
Talking about secure wallets, are there none with 2FA? I thought I remember reading about a technique that would make this possible. Signing transactions with Authy or the like would be awesome.

It wouldn't require entrusting stuff to a third party. Your keys would be shared between two devices and you'd need both to sign a transaction. I think this was the paper: https://eprint.iacr.org/2014/629.pdf

Sorry hodlers, but I just sold out to FIAT... I am expecting at least a small correction soon. Maybe we go back up after a small correction, or maybe there is a large correction looming. I think I will buy back after the small correction, and curse the gods if there is a large correction.

Maybe I am, maybe I am not. I suppose we will find out soon... Either way, I think I will be happy with whatever happens. I am not greedy.

It's not a bad price to sell... the only risk is if you will be able to get onto the train again. Who knows... Anyway it's good that some people get out of the train now better than later when the correction could be worse. We need people to sell to have a healthy rise.

Just bookmark this page and read all about it years from now we all know Bitcoin is about as random as it gets with price, nobody could have accurately predicted this price rise and have made the prediction believable at the same time. Of course, no one is going to predict exactly the specifics, but there are a range of probabilities that some people will be more accurately predicting one scenario or another. These performances are a bit beyond my previous expectations, but they are also within my previous expectations. Same thing would be true, if the BTC price were to rise to $20k before the end of the year. I would put such expectation at less than 1% chance, but if such $20k were to occur before the end of the year, I would be surprised and shocked and amazed, but I would also understand such situation to have been a real possibility. On the other hand, if folks attempt to predict future scenarios with any degree of certainty, then there is something wrong with their framing and their thinking.. because another possibility is that bitcoin prices could be below $300 before the end of the year. Currently, I would place such possibility at less than 3%; however, it remains possible, also.

Edit: After my post, I read that you assert that you are not greedy... I understand that we need all kinds of philosophies and views in order that the market has it's UPs, DOWNs and unexpected movements, it is just difficult for me to relate to folks who play with their whole holdings (or make such assertions)

Well, unfortunately I did not have the foresight to hodl all the BTC I have bought/owned throughout the years, so I own very little BTC... so little that it is pretty much "play money" for me. I am also a bit of a gambler. I am just having fun really. Maybe I lose a bit, or maybe I won't.... we shall see! One thing's for certain... I refuse to buy back in at a loss, so I am on the sidelines for now. It looks like all the whales decided to start buying after I sold, lol. Maybe it will correct back down sooner or later.

Wall observed in Bistamp at 1790. It's the same of yesterday... If price cross 1800 this time, there's not much resistance above.

Ok. I'll admit yours is better advice. I'm just not into hardware wallets for now. (My computer is essentially a large hardware wallet; but that's another story.) you can't trust your phone or your computer. I don't trust anything. A guy using the official wallet with passphrase protection lost 16 bitcoin to malware last week posted on reddit. I see these posts more often now. I can appreciate the reasons to run a full node but security of your bitcoin is not one of them until Bitcoin Core supports hardware wallets. Sure you can use Armory cold storage but that is not very convenient. On what OS was his Wallet?

Yeah, but if you use windows you do it on purpose

Looks like the days of big dumps are over. Its up up and away from now on. Future millionaires we are.
I predicted a return to downturn after we hit $1100. Sure, some short lived dumps - nothing major and btc rages on. Boy, was I wrong.
Good times ahead. Rejoice.
