Poloniex, but let me tell you that if I had shorted it the first time I thought about it, I would be broke by now  It's very risky to short an altcoin with a crazy unexplained rise.... and markets can remain irrational longer than you can remain solvent. |

So far it unfolds very much like 2013 bubble did. Altcoins shortly making boosts during bitcoin correction - then more growth (wave 5?) for Bitcoin.
Quite exciting and eventful year for all of us.

It's not called Bearstamp for nothing. Look at the candles size @ 30 min chart! Yep, really weird. It scared me at first, but after seeing it didn't have any impact on kraken price I decided to ignore it. Whatever is hapenning on Bitstamp, it's happening just there. Also, notice how even BTC-E is higher price than Bitstamp now. |

WTF! Talking about fees I have just made my first Monero transaction, from Kraken to Poloniex. As I always do to check everything is ok, I have sent one single XMR, before sending the rest. Ok, here comes the shocking part: XXXXX 05-17-17 XXXXXX +XXXX Monero ɱ0.95000 ɱ0.05000 Success WTF again!? A 5% fee?  I have never had any problem with fees paid by Kraken (it doesn't let you specify it) with BTC or any other coins so I have to assume that there are other coins with MUCH WORSE transactions fees? This is crazy. P.S.: Considering XMR is now around 25€, that's 1.25€.... That is dictated by the exchange, not XMR. They tend to use a fixed fee that is favorable to themselves, but clearly have not adjusted it to reflect the rise in value. Being in their favor, I wouldn't expect any action soon, nor any sort of response from support this month. Kraken is too busy adding shitcoins to make what they've got work smoothly, so it is no surprise. Sending XMR from YOUR wallet is much more reasonable. |

It's not called Bearstamp for nothing. During the last rally to almost $1900 they were almost $100 above btc-e, now they are $20 below btc-e It should be closer to $1780. I assume it's people that is buying/selling for ripple based on the short term volatility. |

I don't use software wallets anymore and my hardware wallet doesn't have support for XMR, so that's why I decided to send them to Polo to increase my collateral. Thanks for the explanation, it seemed very crazy that XMR had even higher fees than BTC. |

Market cap of crypto is a totally meaningless statistic. This isn't like a public company, where the market cap is approximately the price to buy the entire company. You cannot buy all the bitcoins. The above totally deserves an endless quote! |
