The bubble to 1.2k actually had around a 30% dip at 362 just like this. But still it doesnt look too good right now.

I saw an Orca tear into a great white shark that looked better than this.

So everyone here is shitting the pants or what's going on?  Cheesy
Just buy partially if you can! The lower it gets the more you can accumulate.
We've seen this how many times now in the last 8 years? I stopped counting.
At least the veterans here should know how to handle this phase.

The bitcoin market has never taken money from me besides the occasional transaction fee and whatnot, so I can't even imagine what it would feel like buying a $2800 bitcoin and the price immediately going to $2000, but I'm sure that guy is in this thread somewhere.

So do enlighten us to the reasons you come here to spread your permanent negativity.
1) Is it a moral duty to wake up the perma-bulls
2) You revel in the joy of others suffering
3) This is just a bear alt personality, designed to contribute to market manipulation
4) You have a silver mine in your back garden or bought lots at peak in 2011, and are sitting on huge loses.

Please enlighten me to your motivations, I'm curious.

This is fine, I can go into long-term HODL node if need be though personally I think we're going to be breaking back into the 2000s as soon as we get to Monday or Tuesday. Better HODLing than panicking and selling coins to other shitcoins. Bottom is likely reached at this point, though we could still break lower.

All of the top 20 coins are down more than 20% in the last day.

The lesson is:  stop convincing yourselves that it's the new normal every time there's a dramatic rise in price.  If it's really quick, it's probably a mini-bubble.

Also, buy when there's blood in the streets.

My guess is that the target bottom Bitstamp price, for now, is $1800. The reason: It was the most visible high in the uptrend (after $1800 it fell down to $1600 and then rose again).

If it stabilizes there, then the real dead cat bounce will start. But the $2700 will not be reached, for some months at least. There is no reason for it, only speculation.

The bottom could be somewhere near the old ATH, or even a bit lower (900?), but it won't be reached inmediately but in some months.

Only when a scaling solution emerges that doesn't lead to a chain split (no BU hard fork, no UASF without supermajority) then we could go above $2700 and probably even $3000+.

All alts are down up to 40%, whales are taking profits right now. Once this period ends we're probably going to see another period of pumping and eventual dumping. Interesting stuff. Or it could just be that alts are dependent on bitcoin's price in some way after all...

So kind of you, now more people can dump on you. Bubble popping. Time for a 1 year bearmarket from now on. Hardfork incoming because UASF will fail cuz it has not enough support. Look at ethereum, it had a 1 year bearmarket after it forked. Bitcoin will be no exception. Sell while you still can. Otherwise you can only blame yourself.
