Does anybody else keep getting posts deleted in this thread, some that were made months ago? Some kill joy is deleting all the rocket, moon, raining money gifs & pics I've made over time  Yes 4 so far. Though I imagine this will also be deleted. Maybe random keywords will save it? Well, transaction fees to get into next block are now $2.18, so bitcoin is now more expensive than an ATM. This means it's usage as a currency is rapidly dwindling and putting it into settlement network only territory, except it doesn't actually function as a store of value like metals, so not useful as a settlement network. The fundamentals just don't make any sense in that regard. I assume the bitcoin traffic will also begin to spill into another coin looking for lower fees (probably litecoin). |

Washing the truck is always rather suspicious.
I don't trust anyone who washes vehicles. I let the dirt build up and then it usually comes off like a complete second skin when I have my next car crash. My latest was with a sheep. I won. I would feel really bad if I crashed into a sheep. The sheep would feel worse though. A wet sheep with soap on it should do wonders if you hit it a few times... Wet soap is a bad store of value. Yeah, that's shit is a bubble. LOL This is fu$%in gold  Best humour I've seen in a while! |

They try to paint those patterns on purpose. They can't naked it short it below cost of production or it will then cause the price to skyrocket. This coming wedge in silver will break upwards. That's why there is huge OI right now. |

I agree. There are a few bulls on here that I admire for their perseverance... Jimbo is one of them.  He has the long term vision like me. I think now, looking back, we did not fight the enemy; we fought ourselves. And the enemy was in us. The war is over for me now, but it will always be there, the rest of my days as I'm sure NLC will be, fighting with Jimbo for what Rhah called possession of my soul. There are times since, I've felt like the child born of those two fathers. But, be that as it may, those of us who did make it have an obligation to build again, to teach to others what we know, and to try with what's left of our lives to find a goodness and a meaning to this life.  Not sure exactly what you are referring to but yeah, that NLC was a complete tool, lol. I spent much of the long bear market whining, basically just to vent my frustrations at seeing the market continue to decline week after week, month after month for so long. It felt like an eternity. I was a perma-bull all along and always knew Bitcoin would be huge some day, but spent much of the downturn making droll, sarcastic comments about the market (mostly just to amuse myself) and fighting with the trolls. I did it for so long that some other perma-bulls here actually started accusing me of being a bear troll myself! Now that really hurt. At that point, I knew I needed to chill out and just let things ride. Ever since then, Bitcoin has proven my original hunch right. I finally feel vindicated for once in my life. It's a quote from Platoon. I spent a solid year being called a troll. Self-deprecating humour is funny. People were so sensitive. |

And that was buying 6 million won (about $5,500). Try getting $5,500 out of your ATM for $2.20. In the non-bitcoin world I would need to get a bank account on base (a very unfriendly bank), withdraw the cash and go to a local exchange that would charge me 4-5%. |

I just sold some bitcoins yesterday via localbitcoins. I raised the fee from .0006 to .001 for faster transaction which upped the fee to $2.20. At the regular rate that would be about $1.35. And that was buying 6 million won (about $5,500). Try getting $5,500 out of your ATM for $2.20. That's not a good comparison. A) We already have the money in our account to withdraw from the ATM and B) I don't pay ATM fees Try transferring $5500 via Moneygram or Western union for less than 15 times $2.20 though! |

The fact that it's hard to conveniently order things on Amazon.com while deployed in the military (as it probably should be since I don't think they were doing that in WWII), doesn't exactly change the fact that bitcoin is a rent seeking usury system. When the money requires a fee just to exist at all, that's nothing but a replica of current debt based money. |
