Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

Methinks you are lashing out because Bitcoin Cash has not yet cratered, and this prospect is starting to worry you. But that's just armchair analysis by one not specifically trained in psychology.

Methinks that even though you got your coveted 8mb forked coin that you said would solve all problems, it's you that are still worried. Because your shitcoin clone didn't suddenly get universally embraced and take over Bitcoin's market. And Bitcoin's price is still rising as adoption continues to accelerate.

And because you still keep posting about it here. Give it up dude.

Haha. I'm posting about it here, because this is where we discuss bitcoin.

Sitting on a 777, on the way to SFO. In my Blockchain tee shirt I got at CES 2015. 'Cause it's what was on the top of the clean drawer.

In this moment, I am serene.

Cheers!

They've all got their flaws. What differentiates BTC is that the flaws have been deeply explored and are slowly being addressed by skilled people.

Except these so called skilled people have been for years pretending that core's single most devastating bug does not even exist. This ofcourse would be its insanely limited transaction capacity.

83% in a few hours...
That escalated quickly! Grin

Perfectly organic. Nothing unnatural about it at all.

...and soon (next few days) difficulty will adjust- then we will see the next stage in the war - when mining profitability reaches parity with BTC/becomes more profitable it will be interesting to see if the miners are willing to switch on a knife edge...... or if they prefer to stay put and protect the BTC chain

I wonder if the current 90-95% "unknown" miners mining the BCH chain will make themselves known at any point...

http://bitcoinfibre.org/
FIBRE is designed to be easy to operate for anyone already running a network of Bitcoin Core instances

http://bitcoinrelaynetwork.org/
Some details:
 * The relay nodes do some data verification to prevent DoS, but in
order to keep relay fast, they do not fully verify the data they are
relaying, thus YOU SHOULD NEVER mine a block building on top of a
relayed block without fully checking it with your own bitcoin validator
(as you would any other block relayed from the P2P network).

The relay nodes are NOT a
replacement for having peers on the standard P2P network, nor should you
rely on it as your only fast block relay method.

Indeed.

No lies here.
The Blockstream Satellite project is supposed to broadcast the One True Chain, correct?
The Blockstream Satellite project sources this One True Chain from the relay network, correct?
The relay network is a high speed backchannel whose primary purpose is to tie all miners together directly in a low latency network free of hops through non-mining nodes, correct?
You really can't connect these dots?

If the Blockstream satellite project does not transmit the actual blockchain- then it will be irrelevant

Its very value is that it will relay THE blockchain - as in what is agreed upon by consensus - it will not override the blockchain

Yes. The consensus of the miners allowed* on the relay network. So called 'important' independent nodes need not apply.

Good, that's fair.

It was completely logical it would reach that point. Now that both chains are equally profitable is when we can observe the dynamics.

100%...not worth my while to touch the cold keys for this BS

100%. But at what price does it become worth it? Is this a test?
yes it is a test...
are you willing to sacrifice your profits and backing on a 3rd party segcoin and sell out the future for everyone?
or will you continue with the vision of the creator of crypto...no 3rd parties ever, no matter how much money is involved? in a much fairer system, the one we are all familiar with.

What's you BCH percentage since fork? Have you already sodl all your BTC to buy more BCH?
Thanks for these relevant news and insights Mrpumperitis.   Smiley

Why sell so cheap ?

Plus you said you sold ALL your coins I think someone is telling lies mmmm
hmmmm another question...ok i will answer, but from now on, if i ask you something you better at least try to reply lol

after this next ath, its gonna dump back to under $3500...
i want to put my funds into bch

(i dumped a few days ago @$4400, and rebought @$3900, now going to dump both bundles for a better effect, 1st one will be bought from the sell side by noobies, 2nd will be dumped   Grin )

Over the next few days/weeks , i will be selling ALL my btc for bcc
Hopefully catch some noob dumps @ this price or cheaper, then i will begin buying more bcc from then on ,
I WILL NOT SUPPORT SEGWIT COIN
i just sold a big bunch of segwit coin for $4400  Shocked Grin
it may try one more push up (i got sells ready lol)

then switcheroo...it will be epic
segwitcoin dump and bch correction  Cool

yea polo now says bch -29%....UP WE GO

tek tek, why do you do this to yourself lol

i hope you understand 3rd party controlling btc is wrong and will not happen.

There is too much to lose for to many huuuge players (miners, exchanges,fi,vc,traders+ many more) by following blockstream 3rd party coin now.

Bitcoin was always meant to fork to remove the 1mb limit, this is how it was supposed to happen,
problem is too many were misinformed and forums are censored.

https://cash.coin.dance/blocks , Thanks too Mr grasshpr
since BCH diff is 13% of BTC, it would require BCH price to be 13% or more of BTC price for it to be more profitable
thats 560 USD currently

BCH price was above 560 for a moment, but then corrected a bit (way overbought on RSI now)

oh and coin.dance just updated:
It is currently 0% more profitable to mine on the original chain.

10min ago, bch was more profitable, within next few hours, it will begin to secure its position as most profitable coin. Cool

Nobody here should be upset...everyone got compensated fairly with the airdrop, and the price of The real Bitcoin is still around $500...
THIS IS A BUY
THIS IS BITCOIN

I'm not even convinced the whole exercise isn't just a ploy to get folks to fuck with their deep keys.

Yes. The consensus of the miners allowed* on the relay network. So called 'important' independent nodes need not apply.

Surely the consensus of the miners of BTC blockchain is the consensus of the blockchain though?- satellite or no satellite..

If blockstream go off on their own tangent as you suggest will they then be creating something other than the BTC chain... miners can
react accordingly.

Are you suggesting that somehow the Blockstream satellite broadcast of the chain will overrun and ACTUALLY  FOR REAL  take over the network/ BTC chain  i.e the longest running chain with the majority of hash power? and somehow subvert it to essentially BlockstreamCoin ?

WHat percentage of BCH do you guys have in relation to the fork moment? ie: 0%, 50%, 110%....

50%
First half I was able to sell on hitbtc for around 0.3 BTC/BCH while people were ignoring me here and asking each other what exchanges were accepting BCH...
