Oh for fuck sake. Just got all my shit together to submit and... Krakened...god those losers re: MtGox, yeah, I'm not sure, the Japanese authorities have been pretty opaque I still don't know how it's possible to trade on kraken without getting rekt by their engine... I am neutral.
Well then, you are just in it to make more fiat. Like the stock market, you don't really care about the underlying asset. Not saying that is good or bad. But then I would say you are definitely not one of the minds that are reinforcing Bitcoin's belief system as a (better?) form of money. I'm neutral too. I'm here to increase my assets "real" (as in current and future, recognized) value. But I'm no "die hard Core supporter". In my opinion cryptos are the future but maybe Core can't or will not be the crypto of the future. I'll support whatever crypto ends being the "best" one. If Core need to be replaced and die out, then it will die.

What's happening is laying bare the shortcomings of BTC, though. Miners have too much power, and I'm still waiting for propositions to alleviate that.

And your definition of "best" one is? Let's both take the red pill and go down that rabbit hole together.

I am not a core supporter or WuVer coin fanboy. I am neutral.
Price = intrisic value + discounted future value (aka belief) So price mostly (95%+) = belief for _all_ coins on this day Neutral is smartest for those who can. Good on you

Then you should be already balls-deep in LTC. I have a LTC wallet and is the fastest I ever seem. However, the price is always going down. That's why we cant have nice things.

I think that may only be required for FIAT withdrawals. Now I am no expert at large dumps but can't you use an exchange like polo or bittrex? I have a legacy account on Bittrex which allows me to withdraw 1337 BTC per day. (Not that I have ever tried!)

Yeah, wanna dump BCH to straight fiat. Set 40% aside for taxes, pay off a mortgage, buy a new SUV, and an investment property with the other 60% fiat. Let me know before you dump so i get the hell out of BCH

Kraken is under DDOS attack it seems, I can't connect to it (and I'm not alone).
It's true that their trading engine has problems, however for a simple limit order it shouldn't be too problematic.
Market order on the other hand, if there is something wacky happening, you never know what price you'll get.

Hope so. I watched several 100+ BTC walls get eaten on Bitfinex about 8 hours ago for cheap. If it Ver, the sooner he can dispose of his large BTC stash and convert to BCH, the better. Good riddance! At least Ver isn't trying to just dump all his BTC in one fell swoop. (If it is Ver.) How many does he own?

Some are speculating that the DDOS attack is related to BCH, since Kraken has now opened BCH deposits : BCH proponents would like to prevent a BCH dump by attacking Kraken.

Fuck taxes. A reason I've been hodling all these years is to not pay them. I would rather live like an hobo than paying sh*t to the pimps.

Yeah, wanna dump BCH to straight fiat. Set 40% aside for taxes, pay off a mortgage, buy a new SUV, and an investment property with the other 60% fiat. What a lovely dilemma to have. Well you can at least dump to BCT first then worry about withdrawing to FIAT later. In fact can you actually trade BCH for FIAT without going through BCT first? Although I have been around the scene a while I am not used to dealing with these sorts of numbers so please go easy on me if they are naive questions! edit: just read a few posts up that Kraken is now trading BCH for fiat!
