When the really big money wants to enter they definitely try to slam the price down as hard as they can and make everybody shit their pants.

'splan'a'me'this -

If 'the really big money' has no Bitcoin, how are they going to 'slam the price down'? Hmm?

They buy a lot first, but slowly.
Then they throw it on the market in a very quick fashion.

Wham !

This. They will slowly push the price up over $100k/BTC. Then BAM! drop the price down to below $10k.

And put them where?

Thanks, i've found some desktop wallets but not sure which is the best/safest, what you recommend? And if desktop wallet is a program, a virus on my computer could infect it?

Both of them are excellent choices. Both have comparable (and excellent) security. They are also compatible with each other, in the sense that a recovery seed of a Ledger can be used on a TREZOR and vice versa.

TREZOR is the first and most mature product of the two. I have one and I'm extremely satisfied with it. I highly recommend a TREZOR.

I have a Trezor and it works brilliantly.  I'm going to buy a ledger because it supports some alt coins that the Trezor currently doesn't support.
Trezor is working on a new model which is why little work is being done on adding new coins to their exisitng product.
There is also the keepkey which is based on the Trezor.

Hella strange dip...

Never mind, still a big price rise over recent times. I just hope it doesn’t drop below 5k, it’s acting as a kind of psychological victory atm for me any way Smiley

Thanks for the warning. I've just sold everything.

I'm now searching for Jamie Dimon's daughter -- I heard she's super hot!

Dimon is a fool & hasn’t got a clue about the path that bitcoin is taking. Anybody who reacts to comments by him is an idiot.

I totally agree. What an ignorant comment. Not everyone has a $30 million annual salary that they can just "not care" about Bitcoin. Such arrogance in his uneducated opinion.

Good morning Bitcoinland.

I see we had a bit of a dip overnight... currently $5557USD/$6930CAD (Bitcoinaverage).

AltCash also down... currently $313USD/$390CAD (Coinmarketcap).

No big deal, not nearly deep enough for me to buy.

Dimon is a fool & hasn’t got a clue about the path that bitcoin is taking. Anybody who reacts to comments by him is an idiot.

We used to say, "If you're so smart, why ain't you rich?"

In Dimon's case I have to ask, "If you're so rich, why ain't you smart?"

If I had a 30 mill annual salary I would diversify some into Bitcoin. But, hey, that's just me.

Keep reading, yes, you need to figure out how to create an offline, safe environment for producing your private keys and for signing transactions.  This is the responsibility every person needs to take if they don't want the banks holding their hand.  A lot of people use linux environments on raspberry pi for this purpose.  Whatever it is IT SHOULD NEVER TOUCH THE INTERNET.

Dimon also says it can go to $100K. Now I understand why they say stupid people are happier.

"I could care less what bitcoin trades for, how it trades, why it trades, who trades it. If you're stupid enough to buy it, you'll pay the price for it one day. I've also told people that it can trade at $100,000 before it trades to zero. Tulip bulbs traded for $75,000 or something like that."
