Guys I enjoy listening to Trace Mayer interviews on YouTube. Is there anyone else you recommend watching/ listening to.

Trace just seems to blow my mind each interview.

Thinking about getting a trezor, given recent gains. Put half my cold stash on it. Worth it?

I have a ledger nano and I love it

Did anyone see the Fox Jews story on yesterday where they were trying to float the idea of replacing the social security system with "blockchain"?  They would then obviously roll that system up into a national ID system with all your transactions tied to it and you'd have your dystopian, digital slave currency future.  There is absolutely nothing good that will come out of craptocurrency in the end game.  All roads lead to it being nothing more than tools for bankers to try and enslave people.

How do you guys know these trezors and ledgers aren't getting intercepted in the mail and their guts stuffed with something else?

What's the deal here?
If you have 350k btc why would you even bother with bcash?

Because life is long.
in France, RogVer has avowed 52 millions of Euros (~10 000 BTC).

Well with the Trezor, I know from experience that the small box comes wrapped in tight cellophane, and then the box itself has several security tamper-proof seals. SatoshiLabs says to send the Trezor back if any of these have been compromised.

They also made changes to their existing packaging as follows:
  • TREZOR logo does not say “TREZOR The Bitcoin Safe”, but “TREZOR” only the package is slightly bigger (100 x 100 x 13 mm)
  • There is less text on the package
  • Sticker with barcode, UPC code and product name is on every package
  • In the instructions is written to go to trezor.io/start instead of mytrezor.com
  • There are two holographic stickers in this batch (one on each side)

At least they're trying to help with security. I don't think there is much else they can do.

Good morning Bitcoinland.

Down a wee but still going roughly sideways... currently $5587USD $7022CAD (Bitcoinaverage).

Meanwhile AltCash has taken a surprising turn upward... currently $367USD/$460CAD (Coinmarketcap).

For those who still hold both, it means almost no change.

Consolidation is good and all, but after last week's excitement this is rather boring.

Ho hum.

They could allow you to pick up your Trezor at the Satoshi Labs headquarter. This would remove
the counterparty risk of the mail carrier.

But this is probably not necessary if you see that the seals are undamaged.

Somebody just: 1) Made 2 huge blocks filled with 150 mil $ 2) pumped Bcash, doubling its volume from 150 to 300 mil 3) Stopped mining Bcash

So that nobody can transfer their Bcash to exchanges to dump this shit. Very clever! And fucked up.

If that is really true then they are desperate. Jihan is on the brink of bankruptcy.

So they're like running the Fed and the Central Bank for BCash to keep it propped up? Hilarious.

The Ledger is designed in a way that, if tampered with, then it won't work and it becomes obsolete. Basically the Ledger itself is tamper-resistant, so there's no need for tamper-resistant seals on the packaging. Don't know about the Trezor through as I haven't read much about it.

Couldn't someone just replace the entire guts with something that pretends to be a ledger though?  Or manufacture a copy that looks like one and swap them?
