If you're still holding BTG congrats combined value of BTC+BTG is over $10k

Congratulations to anyone who Bcashed them out as well because the average value of your larger Bitcoin stash is over 10k and as an added bonus, you aren't aiding and abetting the clownecoin decepticons.

Ok. Going back to sleep, will go to work in a few hours for lulz.

Wouldn't it be weird to work just to pay the taxes on all your bitcoin profits?

I guarantee you, you do not want to take your boss' seat. There was an exceptional Flintstones episode about this with Gazoo and Fred becoming Mr. Slate. Excellent analysis.

But at the same time don't walk, it can be fun to have some pocket change to spend.

I definitely DO NOT want to replace him. I'm fine where I am right now.
I am still below 100BTC so I guess I will sit tight and look around for a while.
If I keep my job I do not have to use my BTC and I can increase my stash.

No much choice until 250K per Bitcoin Cheesy

Hmmm

USD 10.000 seems hard to crack ... but this was kind of expected.

Went to 9700 4 times already and bounced back a couple of hundreds.

Looks like I need to go back to work. Anyone hiring?

 Cry

Do you have any marketable skills ?

I did last week but I think I've been out of the work force too long.

Just keep that wrist supple and you'll always be able to pour coffee or flip burgers; both are noble occupations that will help keep you grounded.

Jihan Wu's machines shouldn't need much cooling up there then so there is no excuse for him to go for an unshaved armpit woman. Grin

I find hairy women very attractive. Exactly as mother nature made them! Yummy!

And I hate make-up too. Putting paint on one's skin... Fake beauty.

Is the only way to get your Bitcoin Gold to use Coinomi. Is there not a web wallet like Electron Cash but for Mac?

It is, sideways trading for a while at this level would be a great spot too build some support at.  :-)  Once you look at order books, 11K 12K 13K+ are very thing right now.

I hope so. Got used to the excitement of the recent rise and now want more! This thing's addictive! But you're right, better slow and steady. We don't just want to rise up, we want to stay up.

Oh no, not again! I've heard about Diamond, but the rest I was not aware of. I don't mind free coins, but I hate the hassle of messing with my recovery seeds, with all the risks that such actions entail. I really like TREZOR's approach of safely splitting forked coins without having to change seeds or risking your BTC, but I very much doubt that the coins you list will be supported by TREZOR anytime soon, if at all.

I wonder how many bitcoin hodlers will have an extra fun time while going to work today/tomorrow. this is nothing short of historic, and every hodler will walk with pride because every hodler was damn right all along.

so the hodlers will be very confident and on the the other hand very distracted with that strong urge to check the charts.

bosses will not like that. especially the non-hodling bosses (=majority)

imagining the following scenarios:

boss sees you checking the charts, and once and for all has enough of this shit, yells at you and wants to fire you. now, before you react, check your stash:

<100 btc: smile, say you are sorry and try to keep the job for another year or so. at most.
100-1000 btc: tell your boss that you wanted to quit anyway, shake hands, farewell & goodbye.
>1000 btc: tell your boss you will buy the fucking company and take his seat.

I'm in the early second group (or was) and I'm going to have to quit work because:
-My boss doesnt LEt me check the charts and I'm losing money on trades
-My boss is being an asshole
-Its a sick building and my health has deteriorated. (Its almost like BTC has saved my life)
-I have insomnia now (thanks bitcoin)
-I might want to try writing my own software.

I just have to wait on a couple more fiat checks to clear.

there is this option: https://blog.trezor.io/claim-bitcoin-gold-bgold-btg-f66969e7f2c0

I can say trezor is a very safe and convenient device. I recommend it as a good hardware wallet.
