I found more upcoming forks. here is a list of coming forks I know of: Nov 25, 2017 - Bitcoin Diamond (#BTD) Dec 17, 2017 - Super Bitcoin (#SBTC) Jan 2, 2018 - Bitcoin Cash Plus (#BCP) Jan 28, 2018 - B2X reattempt by the community (#B2X) I like Bitcoin Cash Plus C'mon folks, aim high - let's fork "Bitcoin Cash Gold"! Satoshi Vision! Who's with me to fork it and pump it above the that ShitCash? I'm in For something different I would try Bitcoin Tethers: supposedly full-reserve non-redeemable bitcoin as-ifs pegged 1:1. How come nobody thought of that! i will buy some mining rig (oh wait, there is still my BFL order that was supposed to be shipped in two weeks TM) and then I will fork BTL. no, BTL stands for BITCOIN LAMBO. and hell, yeah I will peg it to one lambo per coin. of course it will be not an old fashioned proof-of-work but proof-of-speed coin.

I have to admit having some doubts "Bitcoin Cash Gold" is not catchy enough in these fork times. Would "Bitcoin Cash Gold Diamond Lambo" cut it?

Great idea. You will have to get a lot of Lambo's.

I usually buy bitcoin in little bags and sell the bags when i make enough profit out of them I just noticed that this is nonsense since Bitcoin doesnt fall in price for more than 24h anymore hell my stocks are more volatile than this starting to invest my money in more safe assets: bitcoin

Not the best time to sell, I should think.
I dunno, I dumped it. Dev team can't even secure their Github. Perhaps with everyone waiting for a pump, there simply won't be one this time?

Coins without blockchains that even work in the slightest have pumped in the past. Fibrecoin on Poloniex is an example.

Yes, it good time to sell but I don't think the price per bitcoin will push it above $10,000 this week because the price seems to be up and down around the $9500-$9700 price range for hours.

We know that Bitcoin will be featured on this week's episode of The Big Bang Theory, but how many of you watch Showtime's Shameless?
Fiona just rented an apartment to a tech guy that moved in a bunch of equipment, and he alluded to the fact that the primary reason he rented it was because utilities were included. I've got .01 BTC that says we will later learn that he is mining with a bunch of rigs and is going to cause Fiona's electric bill to go through the roof.
Any takers?

Jan 28, 2018 - B2X reattempt by the community (#B2X)
Are you fuking kidding me?? Core already said that a 2X bump was possible sometime mid 2018 with proper testing. So at what point do we all agree that these forks are contentious and evil, and the people behind them should be dragged to the square and publicly stoned? They should at least be humiliated and shunned by all of the Bitcoin community. Given no quarter. You reap what you sow.

The price is high already for a shitcoin really. I'm thinking the chart will look more like Byteball's - huge price to begin with due to limited knowledge and hassle of claiming coins, then a huge dump. Could be wrong, but that's my gamble.

if it keeps increasing at this rate, Bitcoin mining will consume all the world's electricity by Feb. 2020." Sounds like this has just been summoned once again.

HA! ... LOL! ... ROFL!... I still have mine... I'm too lazy to split my cold storage. But I'm thinking to trade on it when the dust settles and it becomes predictable, just for fun. But the man seems like a nerdy prick that is very shallow and with low experience at playing life, ethics and wisdom. I would compare him to some Paris Hilton kind of gall / figure. A plastic mindless dummy.

You don't even need to check anything with sensationalist claims like that. Shit article by a shit author. Light Pollution in the U.S. alone: 120 terawatt-hours/year Bitcoin Network: 29.05 terrawatt-hours/year (Confirmation? Some articles cite 11 Twh/yr ?) CERN Hadron Collider: 1.3 terrawatt-hours/year Yeah, let's get the global light pollution levels solved first before we start considering Bitcoin energy consumption a problem...
