I do not care about ruining my karma, that would be just greedy. I need to let it play out. Karma hates greed, and if it needs greed, it will just modify itself. The vibration of karma is self regulating in its frequency of kicking ass and taking names. It gives and it takes. When you feel your instinct to do something that might be against your own interest and your own nature, but it feels right... then karma says you need to inflict suffering to yourself because its for a greater cause / purpose. Good thing is that Bitcoin is maintaining price like a champ. So either its not money coming from Bitcoin or there is that many "new money" that it all gets balanced. Interesting. Any theories?

2011 post bubble was one disaster after the next, everyone had to keep reminding themselves what counts is the protocol wasnt hacked, and their was a gr8 deal FUD that bitcoin was only useful for dealing drugs, and it really was just a fad... This scared off a lot of people when bitcoin was still trying to get some reasonable critical mass going (needless to say it really HURT bitcoin)... This time everything is just F'in dandy, so we'll have a U shaped recovery and then continue making new highs, it will pop AGAIN ( at 500? ) and then another U shaped recovery and continue making new highs! thats right people the dash for digital cash get ready... set... GO!  

That was just so obvious. You slam 11k coins, getting 1M in 15 seconds, ask walls go up, you're trying to drive the price down. You're trying to keep it down. You're trying to get panic sellers. There's no other reason on earth you'd coin dump like that and try to hold the drop. People realize that, use it as a chance to buy back in, and it's slowly heading back up. They haven't been watching the buying today, that was a poorly planned attack. Way too much money added to MtGox, itching to get in. Should have let the rally keep going up and just slammed into it when it slowed down.

According to Satoshi Labs I'm to update the firmware on my Trezor before I proceed to claim my bgolds. I don't like the sound of it. I don't feel totally secure. I'm still thinking...

Do it. I did it and it was flawless. You update to f/w v. 1.6.0, connect to TREZOR's beta wallet, choose BTG and click on the coin splitting link. The BTG address (if you want to keep your BTG in TREZOR) is automatically filled in (you should verify it's the correct one nevertheless). No need to move your BTC, LTC, whatever other coins you have, outside of TREZOR or change seed if you don't want to.

I've done the above and everything went smoothly.

I am getting the sense that $10k imminence has divided us as a community thread (the 14 year olds have been divided from the 104 year olds), and perhaps there were better days in bitcoinlandia, and this thread - for example, when we were hovering in the $1k price territory and 14 year olds knew their place in the heirarchy of bitcoinlandia wisdom (or lack thereof, in the case of STRF)..    Now they think that they know things because they happen to be RICH, and they may even move out of grandma's basement, if they could get anyone to rent them an apartment and drive them around in their lambo.....

To be honest I didn't even bothered to realize I can push the buttons of everyone in this forum so well, just by picking on, just for a bit, on their favorite/beloved 'pokemon'.

I don't care if people don't want my help and wisdom, or if they hate me for it. Stuff needs to happen sometimes. But I have high hopes in humanity that there is someone there 0.1% of the 0.1% that will understand wtf I'm saying, and be helped by my words.

Can someone console me about the intense FUD concerning Bitfinex and Tethers? Since I already hate Bitfinex, I'm prone to be considering it as a possibility. However, I don't want to panic sell and miss out on 15000 USD BTC or 100000 USD BTC. I'm mining shitcoins with my GPU, but it could take quite a while to accumulate my BTC back if I panic.

The price is supposed to go between $13k < - > $15k ...  ... And then there is correction, profits will be taken and then we go back to normal business of a shortage in the supply and demand of people taking their coins out of exchanges in the fears that another MtGox might happen, and someone would hack or employees might run with their money.


*edit(0): Maybe it will go to $17k < - > $18k  ... just to troll some traders, and then dumb.

You have always been a kind of quasi-incoherent troll, and sure, sometimes there are certain lines that would be wise not to cross over.... but yeah, we cannot really expect a 14 year old to be wise - and certainly 14 year olds tend to believe they know everything, including the ways of the world.
