wow what a crash this night...is this normal??

Totally normal. Not a crash. Maybe a little dip, if anything. Nothing to see here.

We're stalled because nobody is pumping the books with fat stacks of fiat. These are the same books that have been here for 2 or 3 weeks. Theyre actually smaller.

See what I meant? This dip would have triggered a stop loss @ 18500 (and even one at 18000) which is now less than current price.

Unless you mean that once 18500 was already broken down this is just a dead cat bounce and we are all doomed.

Donno, but I see everything fine atm.

After the stop was triggered at 18800 (I moved it) it proceeded to 17800 where I could see that there was enough volume there that this wasnt crash and had option to rebuy at profit. It still doesn't look stellar though - limited upside.

Your gonna have to put a little more thought into what you ask, what do you mean?

Fixed as in broken or fixed as in manipulated?
Last number, which last number 637?

Not sure I grasp the question, but it is cash settled daily, so when it expires, you will already have paid most of the premium, unless already bankrupt Grin

Looking at those limit parameters, I see no reason those can't be set off, ping-pong fashion.  Just for fun :p

Ahh, ... its variable, the "last price" is the price the last contract traded at.
If you look at the link now you can see the Jan 2018 has dropped (currently $19460)

I traded it on btce, using gox as a lead. btce always worked flawlessly. It was extremely profitable.

Has anyone used a credit card to deposit to Bitstamp?   Can you get the $5k limit increased?

Please note I am asking for speed of moving fiat not to buy on credit....

Can someone tell me anything about UK tax on withdrawals? I just took out 20k give or take do I need to fill out a self assessment form? The first googling I've read so far is this https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/revenue-and-customs-brief-9-2014-bitcoin-and-other-cryptocurrencies/revenue-and-customs-brief-9-2014-bitcoin-and-other-cryptocurrencies which says it isn't taxed? But it is an older document and I'm sure I've seen people mention it needs to be?

As far as I'm aware the usual capital gains taxes need to be paid.

Brings back memories of last week, 4 straight days of whales and bears fighting.
