Last chance to sell above $140 this year boys and girl.

I believe this warning is valid these days...

if you sell now, you sell for good.
the warning above is still valid.

It'll most likely keep going up, I would be much more surprised to wake up to 129 than 151. Still, just for fun  Grin

Are you trying to use a Black–Scholes equation to analyze the direction of price moving when crossing critical points? That always underestimates extreme moves in price and requires instant cost-less trading.

Gox and BitStamp are like polar opposites.  When one has buying pressure, the other has selling pressure... vise versa.

LOL

.. Of course, volume is way too low to probably have any meaning.

Thankfully the next bottom is $128 on Jan 1.

Why do you call the bottom at just $128? At that point, the entire trend line is broken and its probably going much lower. Say $100 or $86 even with the right volume, which would fit perfectly on the chart.

I can think of a few catalysts too... such as mtgox resumes normal withdraw, mtgox closes, government crackdown, or scalability/protocol issues.

Hmm, interesting buying pressure building up on BitStamp.  Change from the last few days..

Gox is just dead.

Gox still has slightly more volume than Bitstamp. I think when Bitstamp and Gox equalize in volume, then price on Bitstamp will jump.

The only thing that's really happened today is arbitrage. Apparently our arbiteur took a break over the weekend which allowed bitstamp to fall under the sell pressure and gox to rise uncontrollably.

I saw someone doing the normal 1 bitcoin selling on Gox, but not 1 bitcoin buying on Stamp (or maybe I missed).
