i have to admit this insane rise gives us the creeps. i just hope it will stay well beneath 1000 until december.
if chart keeps exploding like this i guess we will re-name it into "when-bitcoin-reaches-5000 $-party".
that ought to give us some months to breath

if the media puts more news stories about bitcoins price increase, with the added hype of the senate hearing, we might see another two weeks of gains. the first week would be from the hype itself, the next from people who had to wait to transfer money to an exchange. so i dont think its going down just yet. it wouldn't surprise me if we hit 1k. but im a dreamer..

Also, I'm thinking of writing a simplified definition for the escalation scale we are witnessing-- like the Wildfire Danger scale of the DHS color wheel, but I'll be using my favorite, the DEFCON scale. It's something to help us through the coming 'beat drop', and look forward to getting back to a time where we sleep well.

At 5% away from 2X previous ATH, and log resistance, we are now approaching DEFCON 2... more to follow later.
