The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

Nice, they are talking with the assumption that 'virtual currency' is here to stay, it just needs to be done legally. I love this! HAHA!  Grin

Watching bitcoinity and CSPAN at the same time reminds me of the real-time polls they show during the presidential debates. FinCEN is positive watch the price go up, Raman starts talking about E-Gold and Silkroad and the price goes down. Can't wait for Wolf Blitzer's focus group of common voters after the hearing  Cheesy

True.
They want their share.

There will be heavily regulated btc/fiat exchanges. Face 2 Face deals will be prohibited.

very positive view from FinCEN guys.

They will regulate the institutions.... Not against bitcoins

Jennifer was very eloquent. I think they are all in for virtual currencies. They just want to prevent criminal use.
That's GREAT NEWS!!!

See, there's one thing I (grudgingly) have to pay respect for to the US: not matter what fascist foreign policy acting out, dysfunctional electorate system based upon, puppet-president led Koch-Brothers' dick sucking political elite led clown show they put up all year, when push comes to shove, they do know when not to miss out on a great business opportunity. Someone's gotta pay for all those burgers and burger-related heart surgery, after all.
