I think 100k by the end of 2014 is likely at the rate we are going. 9000 by new year's though? I think 2000 is a more realistic number at this point but if I am wrong I will have a very happy new years for sure as will most of us on here!

Is Gox acting a bit weird? Every time it looks we're going up coins get dumped and it goes down again. Up down up down.

The buy and sell lines don't seem to update for me on Bitcoinity. At least not for China.

I've got nothing to say, just don't want ShroomsKit to have 3 consecutive posts, as this would be ultra bearish. Mea culpa

I know this thread is for Bitcoin, I've been here for three years so don't give me shit. A lot of you have Litecoin too. Do any of you know if there is a chart like http://trading.i286.org/ or http://bitcoincharts.com/ for Litecoin that can be accessed on a mobile device? I would like something that refreshes quickly and tracks BTC-e current price. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the link. The guy a couple of posts up told me about it. Google brought it up right away. I've never really tracked ltc closely before but now I have some. It's nice to be able to look at both btc/ltc on one page.

I think there is a reasonable chance of hitting 5 figures in 2014 too. But I also think we will have to cross "the chasm" in 2014 or 2015. This will be difficult, because some unforeseen event will occur, or a carefully-crafted false flag will be raised, in order to fatally shake the faith of bitcoin holders from all 6 continents. If enough see this event for what it is, we will have passed this last test. Bitcoin will be unstoppable.

Recently, Bitcoin market cap (i.e. total value of all Bitcoins issued) reached the $2 billion mark, surpassing small countries like Liberia and Guinea. This should have been obvious.
isn't it $20 billion? The authority for this is http://www.coinometrics.com/bitcoin/bmixGo to the bottom of the page and select Full Data Table Bitcoin is currently 71 in the world (out of 191 countries) between azerbijan and lithuania
