How many times must 700 be tested before the market takes it seriously?

Gonna have to run counter to opinion.

I got a funky sensation...

If we're just linking random videos: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bw9CALKOvAI

BTW, that video was not random.  You guys have your charts.  I have my funky sensations.
Get money from bitcoin and help people in poorer countries.  if bitcoin gets to $155,000 then i'll go and live in philippinnes and help build a few houses and find love (though i am going there to find love next month there on a minimal budget, think that i am eating mainly beans and mashed potato nearly everyday to make sure i save for 6 months ahead of time)  I'm very good at keeping food costs down and i don't go out every weekend (haven't been out at night for a year or more)  I tend to do things that cost little but maximum enjoyment.  Travelling and making friends is my enjoyment and usually are in less rich countries (financially).

+1. Low fat vegetarian food is also very healthy, keeps you in good shape till 100+ Cheesy http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_A._McDougall
hehe, having said that, I'm spending a week at heathrow airport filming for my youtube and eating pizza, tesco sandwiches and subway but then it's back to beans, potato, ocassional chicken and oven chips (low fat chunky fries for usa people)

So this is actually it!  We have the long awaited correction.  I have to say, it we settle at about 800, its isn't so bad really.  We are still nicely set up for a good run in the new year.  This time next year we'll be millionaires!

It's only Gox for some reason - almost like someone wants Gox below other markets.

Is this the game (it is the price that media quote, the one BTC is 'priced' in).

A cheap way to manipulate overall market price by affecting one exchange - is that the logic?

you don't find love in the philippines, you find hoards of woman wanting to marry any wrinkly old westerner to better their life.
Well I found a filipina friend who lives between singapore and philippinnes so not everyone is like that or needs your money.  There are a lot of poor people too that westerners pray on.  Filipinas are more loving than western women, western women go for men with money, muscles and looks and rarely personality.  Hence why i've not found anyone Smiley

It doesn't seem to work, though.
Multiple attempts now and 700 is keeping strong.

I meant changing the relative market prices between Gox, Stamp and Btce - which 'may' be what is going on.

Throwing money at Gox will not work, no, but it is keeping Gox under other exchanges just now.

I am wondering if this is the rationale

I know what you're trying to say, but wouldn't these kind of actions only have a temporary effect anyway?

At a cost of how many coins?

I know it seems crazy - but who dumps that many (and then seemingly buys back at a loss) without an agenda?

I was looking for bid walls on other exchanges and I can't see any, so it probably isn't an attempt to push the whole market down and sell at higher prices elsewhere.

What makes little sense (to me) is BIG money being that stupid - there must be some reason for pushing the price down - I  just fail to see what it is.

You have been watching someone losing hundreds of thousands of dollars, but changing market price in the market.

But is this a cheap way of realising a strategy we have no inkling of?  Who benefits from Gox price keeping low, I wonder?

there's something strange going on but i'm not sure what and why..
the whole market is feeling kind of wierd I mean it was always wierd but it never behaved like that after a drop.

maybe some huge whale fucked up really bad and is now trying to fix/stabilize things in crazy ways.
it could also be some big arbitrage games exploiting the lack of fiat on the weekend (someone dropped 800 coins @ $695 a few minutes ago) this would at least explain the strange/reversed spread between the markets.

 Huh
