There are basically just enough bulls to keep this price steady.

There are basically just enough bears to keep this price steady, mutatis mutandis.
A thousand coins offered at 900 on stamp is the real reason for the price stagnation.
This is the wall observer thread, after all.  If the wall holds we go down.  If the wall falls we go up.
Question is, what will the wall do, and why?
Not mutatis mutandis. Value needs to be justified, worthlessness does not. Price naturally wants to go to zero. You don't need bears for the price to decline but you need bulls for it to increase. There is a reason we call it "price support" - it is because higher valuations need to be supported by buyers. Lower valuations are the default.

Not relevant. The ban had nothing to do with the price drop. BTCChina's new ID verification requirements, on the other hand, have everything to do with the drop.

The price manipulators and launderers need to find a new exchange.

i think so too, but on the other hand, they want a passport code entered and i dont think they have the means to check if its ok, so one could enter any passport id, ie an idea that follows the scheme of passport - id´s from  a certain country.

i wonder if chinese authorities check those id´s entered at btcchina upon arrival at a chinese border..

Price bumping around a lot, but with volume that makes it more or less meaningless as an indicator. The pro's seem to be on the sidelines.

Sent 15 BTC to a paper wallet so I won't do anything stupid.  Sold 5 @ $892 because I missed the big drop but opinion persuaded me that we're probably not going to tha moon this year.  Sold 5BTC at 1100 a while back and bought metal - so that's my principal dealt with, everything else is gravy.  I'm the shittest trader you've ever met, but I'm already playing with free money.  I love Bitcoin.

I don't think he gives a solitary fuck about any part of Bitcoin besides the price.

I don't think he gives a solitary fuck about ANYTHING besides himself... I don't like these type of guys like him. Angry

Apparently he got a lot of people into gold and silver just before the bubble popped.

I can't agree with that.

17:20 They explain that they're promoting gold&silver against inflation and, initially, bitcoin as a hedge against gold&silver manipulation.

opinion persuaded me that we're probably not going to tha moon this year.

Yep gotta trust opinion, especially on a public forum seemingly dominated by low-activity noobs wistfully dreaming of ridiculously cheap coins because they missed earlier opportunities.

Maybe I 'm wrong but wasn't he still shouting buy silver at $50 in 2011 pretending it was going to $300? 2 years after silver is at less than $20. And his Quarkoin call? Seriously...
