Don't know if already known but i just saw this:

http://www.coindesk.com/mt-gox-astropay-faster-latin-america-transfers/

Dear customers of MtGox in Latin America: we are proud to announce that MtGox now has partnered with AstroPay payments provider to perform quick and easy direct bank deposits from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru and Uruguay.

“The option to use AstroPay with Mt.Gox in Argentina was available for a few days, but was later removed. The service seems to be still working for Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru and Uruguay, but not for Argentina’s Bitcoin community.”

That's interesting.  Brazil always struck me as a natural match for Bitcoin.

Pretty weak trend right now.

Just wait until China wakes up.

US markets look silly compared to them.
I actually follow mostly just China now. I've started turning Clark Moody off sometimes even.

So when does China wake up? Like do they all have the exaxt same schedule, wake up as a unit, take group showers, do martial arts katas, salute the emporer, ring a gong, and head off to work every morning?

Probably those of them who trade BTC are no different than many of us: sat up half the night, drinking unhealthy amounts of coffee, staring at graphs and never getting enough sleep

Not sure, but I thought that there were no time zones in china.  So 8 AM is 8 AM on the east side and the west side...

I have another question. Have we passed the point where this market could ever range trade for a prolonged period of time again? I mean it seems like a constant battle of bulls vs bears. We either have to go to 2k or 400. Why can't we just chillax for a couple of months?

I suppose population is concentrated near the coast.

Although I'm pretty sure this whole "when ____ wakes up" thing has never panned out.

Hey, guys! I have an idea. Lets try to break $1000 for the third time in 36 hrs. Third time's a charm.

Is it just me, or does this guy sound desperate?

Maybe he bought at $1200
Sold at $1228. Bought at $610. Sold at $950. Why didn't I wait to sell higher? Because it isn't going higher until it goes lower. I am waiting for the retards to come out of their delusion and stop trying to buy up thinking they are headed toward $3000 any time soon. Anyone thinking we are still going higher is still under the euphoria of the mania that has burst. That is all this is, that is why the nonsensical push three consecutive times in 36 hrs to go to $1000 - they really believe it is going higher when there are like 1000 people all blowing their money over and over again with expensive coins.

Oh dear, fucked up again didn't we.  Welcome to ignore.

Actually, altcoins followed bitcoin's lead. You can find plenty of posts from 2010 and 2011 documenting bitcoin's moving walls and other price manipulating techniques. How do you think we got to where we are today?  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Didn't buy in in time, did we?

Yes, there are still plenty of fools down here. (Police just busted a huge Ponzi/pyramid scheme called Telexfree; many investors are now suing the government for the right to keep investing in it.)

And there are also many corrupt politicians, state officials, and other scammers who need to move money out of the country, and have realized that the usual channels through offshore banks are no longer safe from the police.

Why is it that people put in huge buy orders when the price goes UP to a certain level.
Happened at 900, and again just now at 1000, and I'm sure many times before.
Why wait? Don't they end up paying more for their coins?
