Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

If this market doesn't go down at least a little bit over the weekend, then the bears can kiss 600-700 good bye. This market is establishing a range for the holidays and the bottom of that range looks to be about 850. My god that would be bullish. |
