this is what was meant to happen yesterday, damn they're slow

HAHHHAHAHA, that's exactly what I thought. To be fair, the poll today did ask how low we'd go-- no one thinks it's a bull run (thermodynamics and crap).

So China really banned deposits from banks and other payment processors to bitcoin exchanges? Is that what this is, or still speculation? I was gone for the last 40 pages...

$512/Coin on Coinbase.

well I started mining on a knc Jupiter on oct 18th with bitcoin at 150usd or so. then  and ...it is dec 18th today guess what
goes around comes around was nice "paper wealth fantasy " while it lasted with my puny 31.5 btc stash..and dreams of mining glory...

(now have 2 neptunes on order to punt or not to punt them....groin is starting to hurt from brass balls effect...figure I should hold them
simply because I'm stubborn)

hard to walk ...make musical clanking noises (of course I can whimp out at any moment I'm fickle) (clanks off in the distance)

BTC is not dead.   If it is not dead, then it will be worth more someday.   If it is worth more someday, then you will still do okay mining.   I have 17Th/s more on order, and I couldn't be happier.   Just be realistic with network difficulty(most people aren't), my calculations run up to 400,000Th/s.   This crash is good for those of us who mine, as it limits continued pre-orders . . .

So China really banned deposits from banks and other payment processors to bitcoin exchanges? Is that what this is, or still speculation?
According to BTCChina's web site, CNY deposits are temporarily suspended.

“Dear BTC China valued customer: Due to new government regulations, BTC China will temporarily suspend CNY deposits. BTC deposits/withdrawals and CNY withdrawals are not affected, and will continue to operate in the interim. Rest assure that BTC China will continue to operate normally. Please pay attention to our notices for updates, as we find other ways to allow for CNY deposits. We deeply apologize for any inconvenience. BTC China, December 18, 2013″

MtGox broke its previous low and btcchina and okpay seems to be moving coins into bitstamp and other exchanges to take advantage of the price differences.

Offial post can be found on btc china webpage regarding deposits and withdrawals.

Thank goodness bitcoin pays for and supplies the pills I need to handle its stresses. Stimulants to stay awake, relaxants to prevent panic, sleeping pills, and alcohol... lots and logs of alcohol needed now.

In an ideal world, a government cant dictate how ppl use their money. This actually makes bitcoin very attractive. I dont see how its a negative thing at all... and proves the existence of bitcoin.....
