It makes me sad and pissed off that so many smart people here (me included!) get run over by trading. I'm interested in putting together some quant tools, some portfolio management and position sizing tools, etc, etc, and working with other people here, so that we can have some education to move us away from gambling towards real wealth creation (a la a hedge fund type system)-- probably in a something like a club, at first. I have to program quite a bit of architecture first, so it's a ways off. The tools would allow us to essentially customize our approaches and handle multiple API's on multiple coins and exchanges. You could say I'm just past the 'napkin drawing' stage. Would anyone be interested in that sort of thing?

hours. Does that mean automatically there will be a huge 10-15% increase in price? or more? I battle with watching something and anticipating. The opposite occurs every time.

A new thread perhaps, even though this one is a full time occupation!

Do you have to be chinese to open account and do a bank wire to btcchina? If it's crashing harder in China than ROW I might as well have some money there

It's not gonna happen, 3rd party processors are forbidden. At best they will end up in jail

Are you interested in collaboration? I'm not a quant, but I see that there a many tools lacking in this space.

“If this keeps happening, ten times later, will I keep going? I don’t know. I can’t predict the future. But for now we’re going to try one more time, to see,”
-CEO BTCchina, Bobby
This is kind of like internet gambling... at the end you have to go through 10 different middleman just to get $500 online and go thru 20 different processors to withdraw.... taking weeks and weeks...
