Bitfimex margin trading is the lifeblood of this whole market. When bitfinex decouples, everything stops.

Looks like a double top is forming.
I think we might go down from here on ...

Yup, i stopped hodling and went deep into fiat. No reason for market to have recovered this fast, we will go back to 500's.

You might be right, you might be wrong, who knows.

yep, I never thought so until I saw it now. Imagine if some huge leverage trading platform with big fishes would arrive.

no, this has nothing to do with margin trading, but one big player moving against another.

Looks to me, Bitstamp wouldn't have a third of it's traffic if it is not due to Bitfinex leveraged trading.

Bitfinex went down 10 minutes ago for server moving and Bitstamp is suddenly very quiet.

Did Bitfinex give an ETA on how long they were going to be down?

30 mins to hour

Can anyone with previous experience with Bitfinex downtime confirm if they've met those timelines in the past? My experience with BTC server downtime is that it's always longer than stated.
