The FBI will not be selling on an exchange. Several people easily capable of buying all the coins have approached them with offers.

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

the..swings today are just so fierce.. big money was made for many with balls and coin stashes

Can normal humans trade like this or is it all bots?

of course, my balls retracted ( ovaries for the female traders ), 999 was my peak sell option, 950 was my next exit point and I just didn't get greedy should've had 100$+ a coin traded minus the trading fees

So the FBI will sell them to anyone who approaches them with an offer?  Nonsense.

Meanwhile, I've been Goxed - cancelled a buy order and the USD has "disappeared"... ie not credited to my account....this was about 2 hours ago and logging in/out hasn't worked.

Anyone else experienced this?

Public auction. That's the way these things are typically handled. However, considering the nature of the confiscated 'assets,' it may be handled as many suggest here, in a prearranged public sale.

I'm a bull at times, but people never notice because it is drowned in a sea of madness. I was bullish @455, and I was bullish for the majority of the bubble. Cheesy

Go look it up.

Good night, and 324.

Of course we don't notice it when you barely post in strong uptrends but can't stop rambling otherwise.

Ok

Fact n. 1: venture capitalists, funds and Wall Street are getting heavily into the game;
Fact n. 2: Indian exchange is reopening;
Fact n. 3: all these news (good and bad) is taking cryptos into the mainstream;
Fact n. 4: ATM are getting place in several cities;
Fact n. 5: banks bailout is about to happen
And so on.....these are some of elements to think about when buyin or sellin.......

And oh yeah I almost forgot....HOOOOOODDDDLLLLLLLL!!!!

 Cheesy

Forget ATM's, just go to the bitcoin store near you:  http://www.calgaryherald.com/Bitcoin+business+opens+Calgary/9234195/story.html

I look forward to seeing what kind of ID I need to provide, if any. From the looks of things these guys have just been doing peer to peer transactions up until this point. Very interesting to see this unfold...

Ok, Jar 'o slaw, if that is truly your name and upside down avatar. Hmm, rightly clever of you to use a backward name and such eloquent use of misinformation.

I don't know, but after Bitstamp taking the cake with volatility on the past couple down moves, I am happy today to trade on BTC-E.  Cheesy  Maybe I'm just thinking of 12-18...

Should really be from the time he made his proposal. He said in his PM he leaves work and can reply to us in around 8 hours.

It's not so much about "should" as having clear terms for the escrow provider.
How about clock starts rite now 48 hours from now it will 750 on Gox, just has to hit it once even if only for a sec.

http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/1uohe5/new_years_greeting_from_btc_china/

read the part on market makers...in relation to the trading fees going back to people opposed to the exchange

I am not fully understanding what qualifies you for a rebate.. but gee.. a lil counter to taobao negative sentiment.
