It's one of the few places left where you can spend your bitcoins online.

Unfortunately.

I'm to the point of considering ordering a credit card. My Amex was supposed to be only for emergencies but I've racked up plenty of useless sky miles over the past year with it.

Two words: Shift card.

More words: spend your Bitcoin at any place that takes Visa.

Since you brought it up jbreher, notice that the Shift card uses BitcoinTM and only BitcoinTM.

Point?

If I had provided Elwar with a solution for something other than BTC, it wouldn't have answered his inquiry now, would it?

Asshole.

Salutations WO's

Still traversing the same basic channel between $3.2k and $3.7k it seems. Until we break out one way or another its snafu imho.
Mid to long I believe its still a excellent time for accumulation, short term as explained above..waiting for a clearer signal. #dyor

Pretty sure both Roger and Jihan have enough stashed away for a good life (they're smart enough to at least conceive of some elaborate scams, so it'd take some serious ego problems if they burnt their retirement funds of petty games). But yeah, if they aren't the market makers they'll be royally fucked soon. Craig included.

Yeah it was gleaned from an incomplete French lesson from some French guyapparently who won MicGs Bitcoin:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5056734.msg48576883#msg48576883

I plagiarized and pluralized it for this occasion and yet I thought I'd never get any use from it at all!   Quelle surprise.

If it does not go below 3000

It could be a good support to go up

What do you think?

What's the rationale behind the Bitcorn halving by the way? Why not some sort of continuous curve that converges to zero?

Avoiding unnecessary complexity. Also why the difficulty is not adapted every 10 seconds like bcash.

I'd rather be poor and have a full head of hair than be rich and bald

You seem to be presenting a kind of false dilemma, fairyvibes, which may be reflective of your username.

Of course, there is value to both youth and to appearances.

Nonetheless, if you are bald and/or ungodly ugly, then wouldn't it be better to be rich than to be poor?

You cannot necessarily choose some aspects of your looks or health, but being rich likely makes some of the poor physicality or poor health more tolerable (and even possibly more treatable), especially if you are going to have the poor physicality and/or health, anyhow.

If you did not continuously admit to bcash shilling, ...

I have never admitted to 'Bcash shilling'. You need -- once again -- to check your definitions.

I have admitted to advocating for Bitcoin Cash. I will admit to advocate for Bitcoin SV.

But the universally recognized definition for 'shilling' is predicated upon renumeration for advocacy of some thing that one would not advocate for if the payment was not made.

I have never shilled for any crypto.

Your insistence in misapplying such charged language only marks you as disingenuous. And is evidence of the actual hostility in this conversation.

Rubbish.  You constantly talk your book.  And you carefully provide misleading information when you do so.  Most of the time, what you say may not be technically wrong, but invariably amounts to a misrepresentation in the broader context.  And some of the time it is outright fabrication.

This discussion is a case in point.  You are relying on a historic definition of the term shill.  We both know that is not how the word is used in 2018 in the crypto community.  But you think yourself marvelously clever for having made the distinction.   It would be most accurate to say you are a fraud and petty conman.

To give us a wee thrill to look forward to every few years?

Perhaps Satoshi was a shameless showman after all. Everyone loves a cliffhanger.

At the age of 43 or whatever I am mine's just starting to fray.

I wouldn't mind at all if it was turning into a widow's peak, that's a good look, but mine's only going directly in the centre of the forehead which looks fucking awful so I'm going to wind up looking like the victim of a driveby lobotomy.

Weird how just a few square cm on one portion of your skull turns you from someone normal-looking to a drooling goon.

I am almost worried about the price.

I had made so much money, but didn't sell... And I refuse to sell now in this price.

That's an important lesson. Always take small profits... I wouybe feeling better now
