Top 25 BTC Pairs

Included in this report we have calculated the true volume of the CMC top 25 BTC trading pairs. Most of these pairs actual volume is under 1% of their reported volume on CMC. We noted only 2 out of the top 25 pairs not to be grossly wash trading their volume, Binance and Bitfinex.

OKEx has been moved to our Exchange Advisory List as we found just about all of their top 30 traded tokens to be engaging in wash trading when processed through our algorithms.  It appears they have benefited the most from the CMC referral traffic, as our estimated adjusted volume for them would still keep them in the top 10.

Huobi was also found to be wash trading many of their top 25 pairs volume numbers, but to a lesser degree than OKEx.  HitBTC’s top 25 has shown clear evidence of wash trading as well. Both of their adjusted numbers for this report have also landed them on our Advisory List.  Please contact us for full reports on any pairs on any exchange.

We checked into Bithumb after numerous reports and found a large amount of wash trading primarily with Monero, Dash, Bitcoin Gold, and ZCash.  Top wash traded tokens on Bithumb appear to change depending on the month.

And risk the chance that you'll accidentally reward some serial killer cannibal guy? I don't think so.

What will happen to cannibalism once lab meat becomes a thing?

You guys are all veering into cats? What about the Bitcoin Bomb Threat? "Gimme $20,000 of BTC, or I'll blow up something. Somewhere."

https://news.google.com/search?q=bitcoin%20bomb%20threat&hl=en-US&gl=US&ceid=US%3Aen

I've only casually glanced, haven't found the public address. It would be interesting to see how many suckers paid.

Here we have it, high quality media report about the recent dump.  Undecided

Quote
Bitcoin plunged more than 6% to near $US3,300 a coin after the New York Police Department said that bomb threats that have been emailed around the country Thursday afternoon were made by someone demanding bitcoin

https://www.businessinsider.com.au/bitcoin-price-bomb-threats-demand-crypto-for-ransom-2018-12

Apparently multiple emails in several cities, states and possibly countries from what I can gather. MSM is of course milking it for all its worth. CNN was "forwarded" this email supposedly. This false flag is obviously being perpetrated by a nocoiner with nefarious at worst, slanderous at best intentions. No bitcoiner worth he's salt would touch outputs from that(such) address(s).

It's a good thing the guy is an idiot.

If the letter was more articulate then it would be an obvious CIA project and a bomb would actually be detonated.

Thanks for your comments JayJaunGee.
I decided to keep holding as I said.

I am more worried about ethereum, which is a big part of my investment.

I will still holding it, and hope to dump those coins in the first opportunity. If BTC recovers, ethereum will probably reach my average price (something near 250-300).

I believe ethereum is an interesting project, However Vitalik is the problem.  He is like a CEO,  it became his blockchain... Let's see where it goes. If he manages to launch Casper (PoS) it will be a nice achievement for the whole ecosystem (as other POS coins were very centralized and much smaller projects)

Aren't those wallets mostly exchanges? Accumulation in exchanges could be a bearish sign, as no one sends BTC to a wallet to buy more... But to sell them.
